MB ASUS Intel 1700 TUF GAMING B660M-PLUS D4

I ordered this to use with my i9-12900k processor and one RTX3070 taking advantage of the pcie 4.0 ; The motherboard has an outstanding performance even if using cheap 4800mhz ram modules. The onboard wi-fi is very convenient and surprisingly fast too. Overall a great motherboard and in my opinion offers a very good value for money if compared to other similar motherboards..

I'll start with the bad: I got this as Used - like new condition from Amazon Warehouse. However, there were several issues with the mobo on inspection: 1. Checking the CPU socket, there were strands of dust in there. 2. Bits of thermal paste were stuck to reverse side of the CPU socket cover - not good as it could have ended up on the socket pins. 3. One of the fan header pins was slightly bent. So, whoever inspected the mobo back at Amazon didn't know enough about hardware to spot the issues and definitely should either have done a better job of rectifying the issues or not advertised it as Like New. Other slight issues are that you may be limited to the size of aftermarket CPU cooler due to the size of the heatsinks. I've got a stock cooler on mine so no issues there. One trick that Asus missed is that the antenna doesn't have a magnetic base - unless mine for some reason came without. The Good: Bought for an absolute bargain of £129.07 during the Black Friday sales. The built in intelligent overclocking and fan control system is a dream. Chunky heat sinks. Overall, a great mobo, but just be careful if you buy one from Amazon Warehouse.

Excellent quality motherboard with chunky passive cooling elements (no small, noisy fans most importantly!) and a long list of features and i/o options which will keep this motherboard current for many years to come. Excellent value too for the specification.

Mine was matx not at as in the listing and picture. I was aware on purchase however. Lots of slots and i/o great value for the price paid comparatively to other brands. Runs cool and Easy to work with and well labelled. Particularly for front panel connectors. Speedy uefi and and boots much faster than my previous 3 letter manufacturer board. Be aware updating had more steps than I expected so kept defaulting me back to uefi on boot until I let it finish properly when I realised. Would happily recommend it for 12th gen.

Solida, fatta bene, con cura nei dettagli e performante. Utilizzata con DDR5 6400 che ha riconosciuto subito non appena ho abilitato l'XMP, nonstante si dichiarata per un limite di 6000. Ottimo il dissipatore per il drive nvme.

Ho sempre utilizzato schede madri Asus e anche stavolta mi sono orientato su questa marca optando per una serie TUF. Questa serie è un gradino sopra la più economica Prime e un gradino sotto la più dispendiosa ROG e devo dire che per il mio utilizzo la trovo perfetta. La scheda è solida, di un accatticante colore nero, con tante connessioni e dispone di ampie personalizzazioni a livello di bios (processore permettendo) quindi è adatta anche a chi volesse fare overclocking. Come rapporto qualità/prezzo/supporto Asus mi sento di consigliarla.
