The best on Amazon so far
Finally! A headphone stand that is just about right. It has large rubberized feet that don't slip easily, has minimum finish (at least mine did), and it's narrow! All of the other "bulb" head phone stands are far too wide, and if you store expensive phones on them long-term, they will put a strain on the suspension. The downsides: 1) They're only 3" deep, as some of the other buyers mention. They're supposed to protect your headphones, not let the soft parts dangle out in the open, where they can pick up dust or have the ear cups lacerated by accident. 2) Too expensive. $2 of cut wood and 10 cents of feet.p.s. Polymers are not stable compounds. Putting two "rubberized" plastics touching for a long time--especially in the presence of heat--is a recipe for disaster. The finishes in modern furniture are all synthetic. From camera grip panels, to floor finishes to shoes....synthetics have shown me that they underperform and fail. I suggest putting a 100% cotton or wool (NOT acrylic) cover on any stand to protect the ear cups from deterioration.

Nice wood appearance with some weight and functional
Unfortunately, a corner of the base had broken off during shipping so I returned it. However, I was able to see how head phones hung on this stand. I thought it was pretty good in those regards, trying both a pair of over the ears and a smaller set that are just "on ears". The wood finish looked good, and yes, just slightly rough to the touch, but not enough to have to refinish it yourself. I plan to ultimately replace my broken one with a new one.

Affordable alternative for an "Omega" style headphone stand
Superb finish on this stand makes a statement with my headphones. I have several pairs of large headphones (AKG K712, Hifiman HE350, Denon AH-D5000) and they all fit well on this stand. I actually prefer the fit over the much more expensive Sieveking Omega stand because it is narrower toward the bottom so the headband does not need to stay as stretched to accommodate the bottom of those larger earcups. The finish is nice and very natural. It is neither as glossy nor as dark as the pictures shown in the product page. (I imagine some mineral oil annually would give it a little sheen if that is what you want, and it will keep the wood in good condition.) However, it is very well constructed and sanded. There are 4 rubber feet to keep it from sliding. The logo is cut into the base on each side, not just one. It also came in a bag to keep it protected but it is not something you will care enough about to keep.

Decorative as well as functional
Perfect pace to put my headphones. The Omega headphone stand holds my headphone securely and keeps them out of the way. It is decorative as well as functional. It sits next to my monitor within easy reach and safe from the tangled cord mess I used to have. In my opinion, they are worth the extra money and I would highly recommend them

Decent, works for wide headbands, finish not quite like photos
UPDATE 3/7/20 - I returned this headphone stand. As I mention below, I was worried that the width of the stand would put uneven pressure on the headphone pads and that is exactly what happened. After about a week on the stand the cups had a noticeable indentation.I originally purchased a different headphone stand (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JY66RZ6) but didn't like the veneer look of that stand, and also felt that its width was spreading the headphone cups apart too much and putting undue strain on the suspension. I picked up this Casanuva stand instead and it's a much better fit for my Audeze LCD-X cans. The LCD-X are big and heavy with a wide headband and very deep, padded cups, and this Casanuva stand feels like a much more natural fit for them. The neck of the stand is much narrower than the other unit so it doesn't seem like it will crush the earpads and stretch out the suspension.Overall the stand is decent quality. I do have some concerns about the thinner neck putting uneven pressure on the ear pads, but only time will tell if this ends up being an issue or not. The stand has a reasonable heft and appears to be solid wood (walnut I assume), albeit three inch-thick slabs of it glued together. The finish is a little rough--it is not polished or lustrous in any way--but not unpleasant. There's a little wood filler at the bottom that doesn't match color well but fortunately it's only on one side. The look pretty rustic in general and I think it would benefit from a little more care in sanding and staining, but in overall it's a decent product that does the job well and looks nice enough on my desk with one big exception...There's a big "Casanuva" logo etched into the bottom of both sides of the stand. I get wanting to advertise your product and whatnot, but honestly guys, I already bought it. If someone comes to my studio and asks where they can get that nice headphone stand, I can tell them. Putting Casanuva on the stand really doesn't do anything except look ugly and ruin any sort of classiness the piece otherwise has.Yeah I know, there's a logo on the Dell monitor I'm looking at right now too. But that feels different. Etching a logo into this otherwise fairly elegant looking wooden stand ruins its natural vibe. If the logo just HAS to be on there, at least put it on the bottom, or maybe only on one side so we have the option of turning it around if we don't want to see it.TL;DR - not a bad stand, better than most other wood stands I've seen, fits big audiophile headphones well without stretching them out but might put uneven pressure on ear cups. Has an unfortunate ugly logo on both sides. I don't love it like I wanted to but it's good enough for now. Would consider buying again but only after checking for alternatives with nicer fit and finish.

Not as it appears in the image, poor quality control
Product looks unfinished. Image makes it seem to be stained and varnished or at the very least sanded to a glossy finish but what I received has neither. It's not sanded very well and the top is not shaped properly, it's not perfectly round but has a flat spot where it was sanded incorrectly. Overpriced for what you are getting in my opinion and does not look like the pictures on the site. I will be returning this product.

Poor Quality Control - Had to Return.
Bought these to use for a Brothers & Wilkins PX Headphones I just purchased but had to return due to Poor Quality Control. The Holder was made from Wood but the Surface was Dusty/Sandy almost as if I was put in the box before the Stain and Wood Lacquer went on it. The Wood was light and Untreated, not stained like in the photos. Also, when I placed it on the table it was wobbly because It was missing one of the Foot pegs that are glued to the bottom. Looked inside the bag to see if it had fallen off but looks like it was never attached.Had to return and won't buy replacement, this Q/C is unacceptable for a product marketed towards the Higher End and at this price point. Disappointed.
