Magpul Field Case iPhone 7/8 Plus Case, Black

I needed a new case for an iPhone 7 plus (you keep a phone long enough and the case (made by Tech21) completely disintegrates). I looked at websites to find companies that make cases in the USA (I'd like to see more manufacturing come back) and saw Magpul as the only one reasonably priced. The case fits snugly, but not too hard to get on, it has raised edges for screen and camera. The ridges make it easier to hold and are not uncomfortable. I'm very picky about plastic/rubber odor and the product is almost odor free (with my nose right on the case I smell a tiny bit of something - no issue). This case has very nice volume buttons that are tilted a bit which feels natural and makes them easier to identify.I would look for cases from Magpul for future phones (maybe my 7 will last until the 15 - i refuse to buy another lightning port iPhone).

I have owned several Magpul cases and love them on my phones and have had one on my iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, and now my 7+. I have a waterproof case I use when I am fishing or something outside where I need additional protection but this case really shines for it's grip and texture. If your hands are wet there's zero slippage. I love that they're made in the USA and the price is great but used to cost $9.99 on the earlier phones.The biggest complaints I have are that if you drop it (even with the grip drops do occur) and the corner hits, it will just peel the case back and bust the screen still. I've had it happen on two of their cases and my current 7+ it hit the corner and cracked the screen under my tempered glass screen protector but the protector was fine and held the screen in place. The cases have a tendency to stretch over time too so the buttons don't line up properly, the phone slides in the case, and it has more of a tendency to peel off on drops do to being looser and this is usually when the broken screens happen for me. I recently replaced the screen and case with a new Magpul because I wanted a thin case with grip for everyday use. I would prefer no case but this one is thin enough to not really notice and unlike a bare phone actually has grip.

It's a Magpul. It's meant for protection. If you drop it it's there to protect your phone. I understand people are leaving mixed reviews based off of the fact that there is a portion of the case that looks like it is super glued or repaired of some sort. Yes, mine had that in the top left-hand corner. If I was OCD I might've been picky about it. But this isn't a Gucci case where everything has to be perfectly polished. This is a Magpul. This thing is meant to take the force and be a bulletproof vest for your phone. It's only a matter of time before me and others that have left reviews drop their phone and it leaves a scuff. Better a $13 case that an $800 iphone! To all of you Barbies out there expecting a perfect phone case. Quit nitpicking and realize that you're going to drop this anyways and it's going to save your tail! But yes, on the other hand- Magpul: maybe get your quality control *under control*.. Amazon, take a look at what you're selling here. You've had quite a few reviews of people complaining about this. Though I may not be a part of this whole heaetingly- I do have to agree with the fact that what we are buying is a *new product* and it shouldn't have any flaws out of the factory new in box. Enough said....

My Apple leather case broke so I needed something new which is why I purchased this. I’ve been very happy with my gun parts from magpul so I thought why not. The material is very similar to what they use on the AR Mags but more flexible of course. I love the case, feels nice, looks great. And one thing I find hard to like about a lot of cases is the buttons. But the buttons work great look great and feel great. For the price this has to be the best case I have ever gotten.Ps. I have dropped it multiple times and there is not damage to the case OR the phone.

Cutouts for speakers are fine on the case I received. All 16 "speaker holes" are exposed. Case fits excellent. I purchased it for my IP8+. It is the 4th case I've bought and kept.It replaced the Caseology Envoy case I had for a week. I was not a fan of the outter plastic piece that went around the TPU.The Magpul has better grip and is slightly smaller than the Caseology case. I was given a Magpul case for my original Nexus 5 and it has held up fine w/ no "oxidation" issues. But only time will tell. I plan on buying the "Flat Dark Earth" colored case to give me a little bit of variety.

this is the best case period! i been using magpul cases since the iphone 5 and all have done a flawless job protecting my phones, the best of all is that they dont add bulk, pickup lint or loose their grip to the phone like the otterbox cheap silicone, all buttons retain their smooth and soft operation just as apple intended to, in my opinion is just a very well engineered case that feels good on your hand. I personally have dropped all my phones from multiple altittudes anywhere from a couple feet to standing on a 6 foot ladder not a ding or scratch on any of them

I bought this case a couple of years ago and I have had it ever since. It does a great job of protecting my iPhone as I haven't cracked it once, even after several drops on the sidewalk. Over time, maybe it's because I have had mine for a while, you will see it become a little loose for your phone and might have to purchase another one. I would recommend this product along with a glass screen protector to keep your iPhone safe.

I have used Magpul cases on my iPhone since the iPhone 5. They are always a great quality, hold up to use very well (my current case is a year old, and still looks like brand new), come in multiple colors, and have a nice texture for bare hands or gloves. They are a slim profile case so you can still easily slide your phone into a pocket, but they have protected my phones time and time again from accidental drops (and you can wirelessly charge you phone with the case on). Plus they are made in the USA and a great price!!

Great feel, durability, and design. I will buy again.

It’s not the Bump case but it works great. Slides in/out of the pocket with ease, very grippy and will definitely take some abuse. Bought it for the iPhone 8 Plus and it fits perfectly.

I have had this case on my last three phones. It adds just enough protection without being too bulky and also makes for a much more secure grip.
