It’s helping me to take deeper breaths and to blow out slowing. It has helped me with my yoga breathing.

Bought 2, 1 arrived broken
I bought a different (more expensive?) brand of something like this before. This time I bought 2 to leave in other places in the house. One was fine. A little less resistance than the more expensive version I got and doesn't have a detachable mouthpiece like that either, but I'm OK with that. The second arrived broken. One of the dials didn't turn all the way, and if I shook it it made a rattling sound. I will be returning that one.

IT IS HELPING IN MY RECOVERY
I am in raspatory rehab for scar tissue in my lungs from pneumonia. I was instructed to start out on the lowest setting. Breath in to the count of 2 and out to the count of 4. Do 6 set of 5 breaths (30) total, 2x a day which would be (60) for the day. Then she said in few days move the inhale to setting 2 and leave exhale on setting 1. after a few days move the both to setting 2. After 2/2 you got to 3/2, then 3/3, and so on. And it has really helped me. Before I would get out of breath just taking a load of cloths out of the dryer and folding them. Now I am doing a lot more. Oh and I am 60 years old, so I'm not a spring chicken. I have a few of these, I keep them in different rooms so I always have them near. I work from home, so there is one in the office, living room and bedroom. I hope this helps someone.
