Im just learning to play Backgammon, so got this little set. It's super attractive, the case is well made and it folds up with ease to pack in a suitcase for travel or carry onboard as you hold the handle. Really happy with my purchase. P.S. It arrived within 2 days!

Nice set. Rows are stitched so not smooth when moving checkers. Checkers very light weight—heavier would stay in place better. Took it on vacation. Perfect size to carry to beach and put in carry on.

This is a great product. Overall quality is good. The checkers have that ceramic feel. I got the small size and it was a little too small for us. It would be great for travel. I am exchanging it for medium size.For reference since all the dimensions aren’t listed, the small size comes with mini dice (1/2”). The checkers are 3/4” in diameter. The inside dimensions of one side of the board are 5.25” x 10.25”.UPDATE: I received the medium size and it’s perfect for at-home play. Also, for reference the medium checkers are 1” diameter, just slightly bigger than a quarter.

As a full-time RVer, this is the perfect size for someone with limited storage. Nice case. Quality pieces.

The first time I had the chance to learn how to play backgammon was with my mom on my Great-Uncle Jesse's Backgammon board which he brought back with him from WWI. The case is leather, the tokens are wood (not painted) there are black tokens and cream colored tokens. The cups are made of a thick cardboard like material very thin & tall, then of course the dice and doubling cube. It is still in great condition. My mom told me of Uncle Jesse teaching her, I taught my son and my husband and I taught our grandson. 5 Generations and hopefully future generations will take great care of it and it will continue being passed from generation to generation.My husband spent hours looking for a nice backgammon game for our grandson and he'll want to start his own tradition.
