VENTLINE/DEX VP543 6" 12V Powered Round Vent

This bathroom vent was a perfect fit for my 2002 Airstream International. Removing the old one was a very intuitive process, and this was an easy installation. The hardest part about the whole project was figuring out how to get up on top of the Airstream, with its curved roof. But, I found a hand grab on the roof above the door entrance. The wiring was simple and re-sealing on the roof was pretty easy. Shipping and packing were well done, and the vent fan works very well.

This is the perfect fan for my 96 Tacoma camper shell. I used a thick round bamboo cutting board for the base by cutting out a six inch circle and mounting it to the interior ceiling. The fan is well constructed and sturdy, Made in the USA. I also connected the fan to a switch which has a speed controller and timer. If you use this fan for a small camper I highly recommend a speed controller otherwise the fan will run at high speed which is not only overkill, but a bit noisy. With the controller you can run it more quietly and efficiently on 0.1 A instead of the max 1.5 A speed.This unit is a bit pricey, but worth it, and less than most competitors.

Very happy, this was easy to install, it moves lots of air up and out of where ever you decide to put it. I just got it, so I can't say much else besides it moves lots of air and gets new fresh air in the enclosed space. It's very small to be not very noticable, and it's quiet enough for my liking. It was suggested by bug out moto, he had two in his van, and I'm glad I found that suggestion.

Fits great. One note: The original fan from my 2020 Travato mounted with (6) screws and this fan has (8) screw holes (that obviously do not line up to existing holes in roof). Had to drill (2) new holes in the roof and assemble with 4 screws. Not a problem for me but should be noted.

We own a 2013 AIRSTREAM and this was an exact replacement- and easy to put in - all the holes lined up perfectly- now I have to buy another one - I needed 2 but I wanted to make sure there wouldn’t be a problem with the fit 👍

These were a perfect fit for my airstream. I had a hail storm that exploded the lids in the original. These work awesome easy to instal

I have a Nissan NV200 so not as much roof area as bigger vans. This is perfect for sending cooking fumes and smells AND for circulating air and being fresh air through the van by leaving front door and windows open.

I purchased the vent in Dec. 2024. I installed it in May 2025 once the weather warmed up.Upon first used the unit started squealing. I checked all the screws and examined the fan for signs of rubbing. I determined that the fan motor was making the noise. I attempted to send 2 emails to Ventline and neither would send. I also attempted to call their office in Texas. The number puts you into voice mail, and then promptly disconnects. Good luck buying a fan from them. Their customer service is non-existent.Look for warranty info or check out the troubleshooting guide. No warranty info and the troubleshooting guide dead endsI will update this rating IF I get this motor issue resolved.
