Garage Caravan Shed Consumer Unit Fuse Board 63A RCD + 2 MCB's 1 x 6A 1 x 32A WPGU04/632 UKCA Certified

I used this for wiring a summer house. The unit is a little short on internal space for wiring and there are no pre made side entry holes. To use this you really need to plan what type of cables will fit. I used a SWA cable terminated externally and fed the cores through the rear of the unit. I then drilled 22 mm holes through the side of the unit to terminate the circuits. Not the greatest quality but looks good if carefully fitted.

I ordered this unit to match two existing units with Green hinges and locks which I ordered previously from Amazon. The unit arrived with Black hinges and locks!!! While this might not bother most purchasers it meant that the unit was useless to me and has been returned. I increasingly find that items from Amazon arrive different to the photo displayed. I find this infuriating especially since I am never fully refunded for the cost of the return postage. Amazon is fantastic but when an item is not as advertised they should make sure the purchaser is not out of pocket when the item is returned,

Used in a Camper Van conversion. Does a good job. Only issues were you cannot unscrew the front cover unless the inspection door is either fully open or you remove it at the hinges. There are no “knock out” tabs for the cable entry, so you need to drill the holes. Good value for the price paid.

I think it is a great little product. I bought this for the shed and does the job perfectly: one line for the lights and the other line for the socket.

Nothing like the picture, but used anyway. Wanted the one like in the picture. Would be careful before buying if you want the one in the picture 😂
