Works well, is low to the deck so receives a lot of saltwater splashes and is still good after 6 months.

Sounds ok light only worked once

I installed this sub in a 2019 Bayliner Element E18 along with the Rockville DBM12 2000w 2 Ohm Marine/Boat Mono Amplifier Amp w/Covers+Bass Remote. The two seem to be a match made in super bass heaven! The hardest part was cutting an 11" hole in a brand new boat...not difficult, just hard to make yourself take a jigsaw to a brand new piece of perfectly good fiberglass...ha! Hookup was a breeze - I mounted the speaker on the side of the helm, then added the remote to the top of the footwell. Easy peasy - and wow! what a difference in overall sound quality. VERY loud bass when appropriate - you can easily dial it back with the remote - and super clean sound. VERY IMPRESSED!

I studied the reviews before i bought the subwoofers. And now i wandering if the reviews were fake, i got two tens and one 12 i made a custom box for the sub i did not want to be limited to 32db free air,, I powered the sub with a 1600 watt amp mono block running the sub at 2ohm load at first turned it way down the box has an adjustable port the subwoofer sounded week and distorted at high volume, i turned the amp up produced a little more bass volume but i could not get it to hit very hard and distorted at high volume ,so 1600w was not enough power for this sub , I called the company and they assured me that 600w rms and that the 1200 rms was fake this speaker hits like its slapping agents plastic, adjusting the port i got it to produce some nice bass but at very low volume i am so upset i should of kept my JBL they hit so hard and sounded so good but were not water proof. i just cant see getting a more powerful amp to push this sub in my boat due to power draw ,i will need at least a 4000watt amp to push the 2 10” subs i going to try to call the company again they were closed Monday and Tuesday due to some sort of religious holly day i feel miss led and very upset with this product , what a god awful waist of time and money

I have bought 3 of these . I mounted one in a boat I had . It made all kinds of rattling noise . I thought it was just the boat . I mounted the other 2 in a different boat . They both made a rattling noise . They sound horrible . I would not buy these . I took them out mounted different speakers in the holes and they sound great !
