Carlson Pet Products Elevated Dog Bed, Indoor or Outdoor Dog Bed for Large Dogs, Green (8045)

Bought the large (47 x 24.5 in) for my 10 year old English Bulldog, Lady. She is on he heavier side of 65 pounds and I wanted a durable bed to hold her. Based on all the reviews I figured this would be the toughest bed & possibly hardest to destroy! (The Pitty had to try it out too.)The cot is just a tad tall for Lady: 8.5 inches high is perfect for healthy/younger dogs, so no down side there.I like the camp style cot. The design allows the dog to be in a comfy bed, keep cool, and off the floor/ground. Being able to fold it up for road trips is absolutely wonderful!The material appears to be durable and able to withstand nails. However, after a few weeks Lady has scratched enough to create a ‘snag’. This is very disappointing due to reviews not mentioning the material failing like this. I’m hoping it doesn’t create a problem. (Will update review with any new details)

I bought this to take on our camping trips since our golden retriever tries to sit in our chairs and just seems uncomfortable since they're too small/awkward for him. Him and his dog pals loved it and some of his dog pals ended up hogging it. I love that it folds up, so it's easy to store and it's plenty big for our 80 lbs golden. Highly recommend this for camping with your dog.

We use these primarily for RV camping with our dogs. This will never replace digging a hole under the park table, but it's the next best thing. We bought these because they're compact and easy to store and lightweight. These are two big attributes needed for anything that's related to camping outside of "multipurpose". More importantly, we wanted to give them a designated spot in safe distance of any evening fires we would have and mitigate them from getting dirty before they came back into the RV. They have a decent build like most common folding chairs, but I don't think they'll have the same abuse. Because of this, I believe they will last for more than a few seasons. We recently came from a very dusty camping environment and a simple good shake and sweep cleaned these up easily. If needed, a wet towel would finish this off if needed. They've very easy to fold up and store in the included bags. They're packed form is about half the size of a traditional camping folding chair and about half the weight. I know they're more expensive beds available, but the build quality and price point worked for us.I would recommend.

Loved this! Took it with us as we traveled cross country in our RV. It kept her off the ground keeping dirt and leaves and things that attached to fur off her. We even took It to the beach to keep her cool and off the sand...no mess in the rv! It was easy to clean and fold up for storage. Due to other reviews about dogs not wanting to get on it...I can totally see that as the canvas can be intimidating but We put her bed on it to train her prior to leaving on the trip and it worked! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish it came witha bag to store it in otherwise it would be 5 star cause the quality and usefulness was great!

My husband and I like to spend or weekends camping in our RV. We've had roll up beds for our dogs but there are times that it is cold and wet outside. This bed is good for getting the dog off the wet ground. The dogs seem to like the bed. We bought this bed and the smaller one. My Dobermann fits easily on this bed The best part is the bed folds up easily and slips back into its traveling bag. It is small enough and stores easily in the basement of our RV.

This is an almost perfect portable pet bed. My complaints have to do with the fabric, which is a cheap plastic type vinyl. My dogs nails have punctured through it in multiple locations on the first use. If this was more of a nylon vinyl like what is used on camper chairs. The bed folds up nicely and stows easily under our RV; I just wish the fabric was more heavy duty.

My dog is not a fan of laying on dirt so I purchased this for him for when we go camping. As soon as it was out of the box, he was on it. He spent a good amount of time on it both at home and around the campfire. It's good quality and I am so happy it folds up for wasy travel. Definitely worth buying.

Bought this bed for our new puppy in the size she will need when grown. I have a throw over it to keep her from chewing on the corners and fasteners that are there. This cot is awesome and we can’t wait to use it when we are camping. I got it to keep her out of the dirt on some sites. I have it set up in our living room now to get her used to it and she is in and off of it all of the time along with her pillow bed below it. A friend recommended it and so glad she did. Same brand is sold at Petco, same price, but they were sold out.

Can't expect much for the price. Lost its shape in no time, and in less than a year fabric ripped to shreds. Doesn't look replacement covers are available. So.... Meh.I searched and I believe that this cot was the best bang for the buck. Great price. Folds up for storage and comes with a carrying bag. and as you can see in the pic, Seamus wasted no time in getting his cozy on. keeps him off the ground and keeps him clean and cool.

Great quality and my dog loves using it, particularly when I pair it with a soft warm blanket my pup enjoys sitting fireside at camp. Setup and take down super easy, light and spacious for our Dog. Also love this green color, compliments the campsite.

He is next to me right now as I write this, asleep on his Carlson bed.

This product is rated for about 90 lb, our dog is 60 lb and stepped on the bed a few times and poke holes in the canvas with their nails
