Easy Rest Painting Mahl
At first I found it difficult to insert the Easy Rest into the cylinder but it just took a bit more effort. This tool is more suitable for a large standing easil. Hope to make good use out of it.

Did not fit my easel
I am sure nothing is wrong with the product, it just was not a right fit for my easel.

Love It!
It took some getting used to, but I learned how to use it. It sort of locks into place by leaning your hand against it.

Best mahlstick ever!
I admit I had very low expectations after reading the mixed bags of reviews so I was fully prepared that it will not work ( I even saved the shipping box so I can send it back after unboxing). To my delight and amazement it worked PERFECTLY! It clamped easily to my easel (I have fairly standard Richeson Dulce Lyptus model), and the stick swing is very smooth. I was already able to work on delicate details of dog's eyes this morning. Unlike the traditional mahl stick I tried before, this one leaves me left hand free to hold a palette. I also love the convenience of flat resting spot for my hand. Super love this product and will recommend it to all the fellow painting students in my art school
