A Union cockroach saw me reading this bad boy at Starbucks and called me a scab
I walked onto my job site as a 4 day apprentice with this book and immediately was respected by my peers! They saw it was a book they weren't even using and knew I wasn't there to play. I picked up my shovel and all the female apprentices wanted to sleep with me!! A Union cockroach saw me reading this bad boy at Starbucks and called me a scab. I told him, "DO you even buy your own powertools?" Then I threw the holy grail of code books at him and he didn't even know what to do with the book! I made that union cockroach buy me a Venti hot chocolate and a cake pop before I dismissed him.Knowledge is power! 831 Non-union Hero!!

Competitive pricing
I ordered this book because I needed it for my job. It is the same NEC 2017 but for a far superior price. Any questions I had were handled professionally and promptly by the seller. Typical paperback books are flimsy and have a weak spine. I have had none of those problems with this book so far! 10/10 would recommend to a friend or anyone in the field.

Here there be pirates!
I purchased this book from 'i20 books' fulfilled by Amazon. There may be legitimate sellers of this book on Amazon. This was not one. This book is most likely an illegitimate reproduction. NFPA would never issue a book in this condition. The typeset is hard to read and misaligned. Skewed is some places and off center in others. The ink is missing or too light to read is some places and smeared so badly that it bleeds over to other pages in others. The binding (soft bound copy) is so poor that pages begin to fall out almost immediately. The seller will agree to a return but i suspect that they know that it will cost me 281 USD to send this book back to India. No kidding on the cost, that was the cheapest quote. Don't waste your money with this one. If you need a code book for actual use that will hold up until the next code cycle go to NFPA.org. Sure it costs $105 but I think the extra $42 is well worth it, and it doesn't fund piracy.

Mine is very readable and no pages are cut funny or have other issues
I have read others complain about the quality of this book. Mine is very readable and no pages are cut funny or have other issues.I wish the pages would have been 8-1/2 x 11, but this size page is almost as good. The binding probably will not hold up that good. One thing you can do it take it to one of the big-box office supply stores or someone who prints books and have them punch this for loose leaf presentation. Most printers and box stores can drill the book for loose leaf for a few dollars.
