When I received the box it was a little dented and I immediately thought the bad reviews were correct, but I kept a small semblance of hope and opened them, no damage to the cards, than when I had difficulty opening some packs I grew concerned over resealing until I pull 3 shiny pokemon and a Marnie full art. I can't guarantee every box is profitable but I will buy again because it has a ton of fun possibilities.

I’ve now purchased 2 boxes of Shiny Star V off Amazon and both times I’ve had a pleasant experience. I usually pick whichever seller has their inventory already at an Amazon facility so I don’t have to wait for forever even if it costs a little more. Both times I’ve also received first run boxes including the Pokémon Sword/Shield code cards which is a big plus. Pulls were pretty good and everything was authentic/factory sealed. I do wish prices weren’t so high on Pokémon cards at the moment so these boxes would be a little cheaper but ultimately Amazon’s prices line up with other prices found on other websites and returns are easy. I highly recommend Shiny Star V for anyone who loves Pokémon and Japanese sets. This is one of the better sets In my opinion and it’s always great getting multiple holographics in every single pack.

This set was definitely worth my money and there was no discrepancies or resealing as I had seen in previous ratings, my cards were all amazing and I’m super stoked about the Marnie I pulled, these are legit and my only dislike was that on the outside of the box there was a somewhat tear on the box itself, but the seal was still very pristine so I think it was just a bit damaged from shipping which brings me to I wish it was in a box rather than a loose bag, but other than that this was perfect!
