I have a newer vehicle with black leather seats and they have a matte finish to them. I really like the matte look and want to keep it that way if possible. I bought this since there have been so many good reviews of it.I cleaned each seat and worked on one at a time. The coating went on very easily with the supplied applicator and fabric. I did the whole vehicle with one fabric. After a couple minutes I wiped the seat down with a plush microfiber. Everything leveled out easily.I let the vehicle sit in the garage for 24 hours to let it cure. The results are excellent. I think it added a very slight sheen to the finish but it’s still matte. The coating seemed to have slightly deepened the color as well. I did put 2 layers back to back on the leather steering wheel and driver seat. The surface now has a slightly slick surface. I wasn’t expecting that but it feels nice to the touch. The slightly slicker feel to the steering wheel is interesting but at least it’s protected. It doesn’t feel too slick but it’s slicker than the factory feel. I applied this to my vehicle with 4000 miles on the odometer. I will apply this each year and feel confident it will help to protect the leather surface as well as retain the matte look.

After reading some reviews and watching some videos on YouTube I decided to give this product a shot. I just bought a Model 3 with the infamous white seats and wanted some way to add an extra layer of protection. I did the car last night, it was pretty straight forward (especially if you've done ceramic coatings in the past).Cleaned everything well with something that doesn't leave any residue, I used Griot's interior cleaner, then applied a coat with a crosshatch pattern on all seats, center console, and door panels (white part), product leveled very well and dried faster than I thought, then went over it with a microfiber and "dried" any remaining product or high spots (very few). After I was done I decided to do a second coat in the front seats, and let it cure overnight. It didn't change the feel or finish, looks just the same. Also, the smell was not bad at all, and there's no smell left after.Just follow the instructions, make sure you do it in the shade or inside a garage, your surfaces are absolutely clean, and wear gloves!! Don't forget that last part.I will have to report back in 6 months or so on durability and how easy it is to clean the seats.

I applied the ceramic coating to my MYP white seats, i think the coating lasts maybe 3 to 6 months for the drivers seat and longer for other seats that have less usage. I plan on applying once a year so ill do it again soon. I would suggest working in a well ventilated area because the coating does smell toxic and i experienced a burning sensation in my chest.

Easy to use and product works as it should.Will review in 6 months on product duration.

I've been using this for several years on my Honda's light gray leather seats and it seems to work as claimed. My seats look almost new, with very little staining from blue jeans or other clothing. The leather is still supple with no signs of drying out or cracking. There's a strong smell when you first apply it, but it dissipates within a couple of hours. Other than when it's wet, you really can't tell there's a coating which is good.

It's highly recommended to wear rubber gloves when attempting to apply this ceramic coating onto your seats. For my vehicle it was a 2023 Model Y blacm exterior with white interior. Immediately I noticed a difference with making the seats softer and noticed the color white really pop. I checked other videos stating it lasts up to 2 years depending on your volume of travelers that occupy the vehicle. Its very easy to apply...I waited 20 minutes between coats for which I applied 2 to assure it will last awhile. I have kids whom eat and drink alot during road trips. So it definitely helps. Spilling any water or liquid is an easy wipe off and food is no problem. It's highly recommended!!! Kind of expensive but it's worth it to apply over the long term life.

My car interior is white so protecting it from any and all possibilities is important to me. This product applies easily and you do not need to use much. I've been using it for almost a year in the hot Southern California desert and all I can say is - it does it job. I especially notice it on the driver's seat which gets the most friction from entering and exiting the car, as well as body oils, etc. I apply it every month on the driver's seat, and every other month on the passenger front seat and less frequently in the back seat. My seats have retained the white color, there is no yellowing, and no noticable smell after application. The good thing is you don't need much to cover the car seats - because it is expensive!!!! But so was my car and I intend to keep it in the best condition possible.

Purchased this ceramic coating and decided to do it myself vs paying $$$ outside service. Just apply on applicator wipe on thin layer and wipe off on matter of a few seconds. GYeon is an excellent product used by auto detailing & ppf/wrap shops everywhere. I highly recommend to use this product.
