Easy to use. Did the job well. Cheaper than going to a salon

One of my teenage son’s ears got so blocked with wax a few months ago he basically lost hearing in it. Pretty sure he’d compacted wax down in it too with buds 🙄.We used every single one in the pack with me supervising as these do result in embers floating off so be careful with fire. He reported feeling the gentle suction in his ear. They take about 7 mins or so to burn down I think.The first few produced very dark brown / almost black colour wax. Quick google shows this coloured wax is old and compacted wax. (Yes, Google and see a colour chart showing different types, including colours that suggest war infection.)As we continued, the colour went more caramel / lighter (fresher wax underneath the compacted stuff) and eventually weren’t getting much out and his hearing returned. I took photos at the time but probably deleted them. It was gross!I’m ordering some for myself now as I seem to have some build up of hard wax. Hoping this softens and sucks it out just as well.

Good product

My family has candled ears my whole life. This is not a new process to me. I know full well how to do this. The hard plastic tip came off in my husbands ear and then hot wax dripped down INSIDE his ear!! It took me three different tools and 20 minutes to get the plastic out. His ear hurts now. This is so so so so dangerous.

Used a few of these now and wanted to make sure it wasn’t just one dud in the pack. As a qualified therapist I know how to use these correctly and each time there have been tiny wisps on fire floating away (nearly caught the couch roll) but also when taking them carefully out of the protective disc the end detached and overall they feel substandard and I’d also be inclined to say they may be faulty or cheaply produced. Not had this problem with ear candles in the over 20 years of using them. I’ve chucked the rest in the bin as I can’t risk an ear or furniture burn. Also the cotton buds are rough as and a bit scratchy.
