It's used every single day in our household
I received this about a month ago, tried it out the first night, and have had it in continuous use making delicious cold brew every day since. I'm a huge coffee drinker but haven't really gotten into cold brew previously - didn't know what I was missing! This press definitely won me over. It is incredibly easy to use and to clean. It's just 5 spoons of ground coffee in the container, fill it with cold water, put the regular (non-plunger) lid on, and yeet it into the fridge overnight. The regular lid seals the container with a gasket (though I wouldn't imagine it would stay on super well if someone were to knock the pitcher over in the fridge). Then the next morning, take the pitcher out, remove the regular lid, swap on the plunger lid, and press the handle down at a reasonable rate. Pick up the carafe, press the lever on the lid with your thumb, and pour the delicious drink of the Aztec gods into your glass, mug, or stein. Voila, perfect cold brew.To clean it, honestly I just rinse the two lids and the carafe in warm water and let it dry, and give it a light wash with some Dawn dish soap once a week. The pitcher/carafe is a nice heavy polycarbonate that doesn't retain a speck of stain or coffee grounds. The lids rinse off easily, and though the regular lid that has the plastic seal around the edge looks like it would stain, it doesn't. I love this pitcher and if I ever accidentally break/crack it (and I think that would take quite an impact before it did), I will 100% order a new one before I'm even done cleaning up the pieces. :)

Love it overall
I love this product except I feel like the plunger should be extended so it can push the coffee down farther to be able to get all the liquid out of the carafe.

Very disappointed to find this is made of plastic, not glass as stated in the description....
This cold brew coffee press would have been great...if it was made of glass as stated in the product description. Right at the beginning of the description where the capacity, brand, type of coffee maker, material and style are shown, it specifically says that the material is glass. Further down in the description (5th bullet point) the description mentions that the coffee maker "made with durable glass" (followed by a few words that make no sense at all.I was so happy to receive the package and opened it right away to make sure it didn't get broken during transit (I'm always worried glass items won't survive shipment). But it arrived in perfect condition despite evidence of being treated a bit roughly because it is PLASTIC! It might be very good quality plastic, I don't know or care. I wanted glass. Very disappointing for what otherwise would have been an excellent product....Does it work? Yes, it is easy to use & has the lid with the press that can exchanged with a second lid for storing in the fridge. A coffee measuring scoop is included. Is it worth $27.99? Nope!

Best Method Yet for Making Cold Brew
I started making cold brew coffee concentrate with mason jars and coffee filters. When I found a fine mesh filter I thought that it made straining so much easier, but always wondered whether the french press method would work too (but never tried it). The Bodum/Chamberlain maker produces a concentrate on par with my tried/true mason jar method with much less mess.Unlike other cold brew makers which have a cone style mesh filter, this Bodum/Chamberlain cold brew maker allows the coffee grounds to be fully suspended in the water, thus allowing the water to infuse much better (the cone filter restricts the grounds and produces an inferior coffee concentrate). The item description says to use 12 scoops of coffee and fill the pot. My ratio is 3/4C coffee for every 3 cups of cold water (that fills a standard mason jar). I just about doubled my ratio (didn't measure the scoop to see how much 12 scoops equals) for this Bodum/Chamberlain maker.Pressing the grounds through the concentrate was easy and didn't require a ton of strength. A few grounds got through, but I didn't pour out the dregs into my concentrate jar. Dumping out the used grounds was easy as there are no real nooks/crannies for the grounds to hide. While the directions say the pot is dishwasher safe, I hand washed the pot, the lid and strainer. Note that the pot and pieces are plastic. If you are expecting a glass carafe, you'll be disappointed.

Joke’s on me! It’s not glass
Welp. In one place it says this is glass, and in another it says it’s plastic. Guess which one I saw. I hate plastic touching my food; I’m resolutely anti-plastic. So brewing coffee at any temperature for long periods in plastic just isn’t for me.Bodum French presses seem to always be glass so I didn’t overthink this one. What a disappointment. It works fine, but I’ll go back to doing my cold brew in empty glass cold brew bottles and filtering by hand. Manufacturer needs to remove all references to glass in its description.

Easy to make Cold Brew coffee
The Chamberlain Overnight French Press – Air Tight - Spill Proof – 51oz - Cold Brew Iced - Coffee Maker is well made and easy to use. I made my first pot by combining water to the fill line and five heaping scoops of coarse grounds. I let it sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours and then placed the plunger in the top and slowly lowered all the way to the bottom. I then poured some in a tall cup along with a milk, ice and a bit of chocolate. It was great and close to what I get from a cold brew vendor. The pot is easy to clean and can even be placed in the dishwasher. I enjoyed the process and plan on experimenting with different coffee’s and flavors in the future. If you want to cold brew your own coffee then this coffee maker is for you.
