NocillaChocolate Hazelnut Spread (7 oz/200 g)

UPDATE March 1, 2017: I have ordered this again and also got it as a gift from family members. I've gotten a total of 6 of them and have not have any problems with it separating (oil) as another reviewer mentioned. Luck of the draw, perhaps. I still love it!This listing is truly for authentic Nocilla. I love it! Nocilla spreads easily (I love putting it on bread), is smooth and creamy, and has a great chocolate flavor that isn't overwhelming. It's super hard to find in the US (aside from specialty stores which are few and far between). So I'm very thankful to the seller for offering it on Amazon! (And glad it has Prime shipping!)It is relatively expensive compared to other similar spreads, yes, but Nocilla is manufactured in Spain and is not commercially imported by big-box companies into the US like some spreads are (many others are even manufactured in the US and completely avoid being imported). So the additional cost of importing it is included in the Amazon price. But on the upside, the taste of Nocilla is just wonderful and as of right now this listing is for the Nocilla that comes in glass containers (with plastic lids) which can continue to be used after the spread is gone. (See below.)The wrapper is perforated around the top so the container can be opened, but the wrapper does not necessarily have to be entirely removed if you want to maintain the Nocilla label as you eat it. Once the spread is gone and the label is removed, you will be left with a glass with a particular design that no longer says Nocilla. Other people wouldn't know they were Nocilla glasses unless they were familiar with the size and shape of the glasses or with the limited edition collections. (I now have a set of 4 and I plan to eventually use as drinking cups in my kitchen.) Note that Nocilla has limited edition collections for their glasses, meaning the designs are subject to change and they will not be repeated. So, while the collection I got are the (second edition) Minions released in summer 2016, the ones you receive may be different, even as of today depending on what the seller has in stock because Nocilla has already moved on to another collection. (But don't worry about the expiration dates. The ones on mine are April 24, 2017 and I bought them at the beginning of October 2016, so no worries there. The seller is clearly mindful of the dates.)So, all that being said, I've included photos of the two glasses of Nocilla I received. The first photo is of the packaging. They were well wrapped in bubble wrap bags-- twice! The second shows the product itself, and the last shows the spread itself so you can see the texture (I had eaten some before I took that photo).If the seller were to get in a shipment of large (1 kg) glass containers that are part of one of the limited edition glass collections, I'd buy at least two! ;)In the meantime, I'll be ordering more of this size in the future! Received the product in 2 days, but it was unfortunately only half full. I would not recommend purchasing as it's very expensive for the amount you receive. In Spain, the jars are full when you buy them, so I'm not sure why they are arriving half empty.

I would give this five stars, but the price is a little much. Nocilla is better than Neutella in my opinion, but it is similar. I grew up eating it and has always been such a delicious treat. I've never had any issues with oil separating as a previous user mentioned. Doesn't mean it can't happen, but it does not happen to EVERY jar. When you're done eating your nocilla you can use the jar as a drinking glass 😊😉

Good product and great customer service that let me know that the company had downsized the quantity and asked if I still wanted it. They were very clear and helpful.
