Madden Girl Women's Getta Pump

Edit October 14, 2015: I also have the "gold multi" ones now. They have a fair amount of pink in them so would be best for wearing with red or pink outfits. It's kind of hard to see that in the online photos but they definitely look that way in real life. Fit and such are the same.I had this same style in another color (blue faux suede) and I liked it a lot. On a recent shopping trip, I picked them up in mint (patent finish), too. They're a nice, basic sort of pump and I can see myself getting them in other colors just to round out my shoe wardrobe.I like very much that the heel doesn't feel too high (because of the hidden 1 inch platform), so these are easy to walk around in. The finish and color are lovely, as well. I find these to be pretty comfortable for office wear. I wouldn't walk a mile in them or anything, but getting around the office, the parking garage at work, etc., they're great. They seem well-made and sturdy, with no loose threads. I don't slip around on linoleum floors while wearing these; they seem to have a little traction (which I appreciate).I got a size 7. My feet are a pretty classic size 7 (though I already knew these would fit because I have the other pair I already mentioned). I think they fit very well (I would say my feet are an average width) over pantyhose and/or knee-high nylon stockings. I've already gotten a few compliments on them, as well. Definitely glad I bought these!

Here's the deal. I LOVE these shoes for comfort on my feet...BUT. My heel slips right up and am not able to keep my feet in it! I am afraid if I go a half size smaller than my usual, it will hurt my toes. The fact that the toe area is squared gives me a little hope that it may not hurt, but I don't want to send it back and find out I could have made this work. So, I used one of those heel pads to help with my heel slipping out... doesn't help. So, I added tissue in the toe area to push my foot back into the heel and not have the pain of a tight shoe. That seems to work. I don't like that all of this has to be done just to wear the shoe, but wow... it's a nice shoe. many compliments!! five stars on the look and quality but maybe one star on the way it fits in the heel... other reviews on this is correct on that. Was hoping it was a unique problem, but ... it's the shoe.

I managed to get the Grey Fabric heels on sale. For the price I paid these are GREAT! The grey fabric is soft and looks really nice. The heels fit well and the small platform helps them not feel like 3" heels. I regularly wear an 8.5 and these fit perfectly.Why only 4 stars? Two reasons why I could not give this a full 5 stars. 1) slight heel slippage. With cotton dress socks on this is not an issue but if I wear silk socks, nylons or go bare foot my heel tends to slip out. Heel pads will fix this. and 2) The bottoms are slippery. These heels do not have very good grip. Rough cement and carpet is fine but tile and marble can be a bit slick if you are not careful.Pros: Great Price (on sale), Look really nice, sizing as expectedCons: Some heel slippage, slick traction

I LOVE the style of these shoes, I ordered 3 different pairs, and I thought these were the cutest. However, I'm a little saddened by the fit. A co-worker of mine ordered some as well and we both had the same problem. They Hurt!!! When you slip them on, it's like they are going to fit, once your foot is in them, your toes are squished to death and your big toe joint feels way too much pressure. Then when you walk, our heels slipped out of the back. I didnt want to get a bigger size bc I was sure I'd walk right out of them, and I dont want a smaller size bc my toes can't handle it.I kept the shoes, due to the fact I do like the way they look, I needed shoes for work, and I dont want to fool with returning/paying return shipping etc.My advice unfortunately, is to get a different brand.

My daughter has hard to fit feet so I debated what size to order after reading previous reviews. She usually wears an 8.5 or 9 depending on the width. The 9's were too long but a regular 8.5 is going to be too tight in the toes, and using shoe adjustment pads were not an option this time . There was a good half inch between her heel and the back of the shoe, and the toe scoop is too low to use a pad to push her back without walking out of the shoes.It is a shame because these shoes appear to be well made and she said they were comfortable. We have ordered these shoes in another color which was offered in size 8.5 wide and are awaiting their delivery. Hopefully this will be a perfect fit.

I got the floral print and I LOVE them! Most of my heels are black and I wanted something different. The color are just as pictured. I got my usual size 7 and they are a good fit. I also got heel pads to keep my heel from lifting up. Happens in most of my pumps. I have to wear them around the house a bit to break them in. They are a little stiff in the toe area. I am wearing these tonight with a black pencil skirt and a Hot Pink blouse. These will complete my outfit. The heel of 3 1/2" is a little higher than I'm used to. I will get used to them though. Super cute pumps.

Hard to review shoes I didn't keep, the look was just what I wanted but my heels slipped out when I walked and I would have had to buy heel inserts in order to wear them. Wasn't worth the effort because they were somewhat tight on my toes, and I had already bought them in a 9 and I am normally an 8. I could not have lasted for a night of dancing. If they offered a wide size and I could have used heel inserts, they may have worked. Somewhat stiff, but very pretty. I was thrilled that return shipping was free, so you really can't go wrong trying them.
