Teen Titans Go! & DC Super Hero Girls: Mayhem in the Multiverse (Blu-ray)

Like many other buyers, I too was tricked by this release but unlike the rest I wasn't unhappy about that because I'm a far bigger fan of that series than of Teen Titans Go! I simply adore the DC Super Hero Girls franchise.Sadly SHG is an obvious failure and they had to cut it short and spit out a film for whatever reason. This movie resolves a couple massive SHG plotlines. We get to see what happens with the Harleen/Babs mid-season cliffhanger. And we also get closure on Zatanna trying to cope with her dark self which was mentioned on an episode or two. I feel that was probably going to be the main focus in the second part of season two. The rest of the girls didn't have any outstanding issues, but all had good amounts of screen time.Anyway, this release is going to get a lot of hate for obvious reasons. TGG was tacked on to sell copies and nothing more. It's purely a SHG movie and should be judged as that. I felt it was extremely fast paced, a little too rushed with plot and far too many things shoved together in a very small amount of time. It's a lot like when your favorite manga is cancelled and the author has to shove tons of content into a small amount of pages to show what he had planned to do and to wrap plotlines up.But I REALLY REALLY love this show and I'm willing to overlook the flaws of the movie. I am feeling extremely fortunate that we even got an ending as I've seen far too many beloved shows just end randomly. So farewell SHG! I hope the next reiteration of DC Superhero Girls will be just as entertaining.And I highly recommend buying the Switch video game as well. It's going to be one of those rare overpriced games before too long because no one bought it and they made a very low print run of them. It's actually fun and true to the TV show as well.

My 7yr old was disappointed super hero girls was removed from Netflix so we tried to find the series with no luck but came across this movie. He loves teen titans go as well so we tried it. He has watched it over 10x. We have bot had any issues with the disc. Shipping was fast.

My wife and I have loved the Teen Titans Go! series since the beginning, and also really enjoyed the previous movies too like Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans or Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. While series has taken stupid humor to the max over the years, it has maintained it's low brow humor of fart jokes, violence, and adult subtext that likely go over kids' heads, it still hits most beats and the laughs usually keep coming from my wife and I as we watch. Yes, some episodes are weaker than others, but overall, the show's writers keep the delicate balance of self-awareness of their simple formula and poke fun at themselves constantly.However, while the show has had numerous guest characters, this movie is a shameless misdirection and false advertisement of being a shared movie- the Teen Titans Go! characters are relegated to very minimal screen time, even trying to make light of this in the few scenes they are in- and these jokes fall extremely flat as the A storyline involving the DC Super Hero Girls is extremely boring. These 'hip', updated versions of the famous DC super heroines are one dimensional and their plot and dialogue checks all the modern boxes of women being strong with no weaknesses, men are inferior, and it doesn't matter what characters or the legacies these characters have had over the decades, as long as the politically correct plot fulfills the goal of this new, modern social direction.My wife and I were not only bored, but I sold this movie after we watched it the one time- we both agreed it was terrible and the Teen Titans not being a part of the main plot was a very bad idea. Someone or group behind the scenes felt it was an okay idea to do a disservice to the Teen Titans Go! and their fans by creating & releasing this lousy movie that is advertised as being equally about our beloved enigmatic, grade school level jokesters. Don't change a formula that works! Avoid this if you actually want to watch the Teen Titans Go!

My family has enjoyed Teen Titans Go! TV show and movies. So we were excited about this new cross-over, especially since the last time the Super Hero Girls and Titans crossed over it was really good. It is a shame that they chose to make this just a DC Super Hero Girls story with the Titans tacked on as basically a cameo.Yes, the Titans are meta and acknowledge all of this in their limited screen time, but this was not up to par, especially with other Teen Titans Go! movies.

I thought this movie would be more of a team up but it focused mostly on the DC Supergirls. Was hoping for more teen titans goofiness
