I am not a heavy user. I usually don't go on highways, and in the market it's quite troublesome to wear a helmet while riding. Yet this visor somehow got scratches without much use. Now, I can't say this is a bad helmet, but just consider the following points before buying. Pros: 1. Looks quite good, especially with it's carbon-fibre like pattern, and minimalistic yet sophisticated design. 2. Will provide basic protection. The inner visor (dark) provide a little bit of comfort under the Sun. 3. Easy to clean, maintain, quite comfortable to wear. Cons: 1. If you get into a serious accident, expect to meet your dead great-grandpa. This is not that sturdy and will shatter with a heavy impact. The frame won't provide as much safety as other steelbird helmets, go for something above 2000, or buy a Vega one above 1300. 2. The visor gets scratches here and there without heavy use. The inner visor is still scratch-free, but it also feels like a cheap plastic glasses for kids. 3. The upper vent automatically closes, it's not well-made. 4. The button for the inner visor may break after a few months, doesn't feel reliable. Conclusion: If you want a budget-friendly option that looks cool and meets basic requirements, go for this one. If you are a heavy user, please consider buying something else.

Before buying this helmet, I was searching the entire Amazon looking for the best value for money helmet under 1.5k and came across this. Honestly, it's really good. The helmet has carbon fibre inspired texture designed all over which is cool but not flashy at the same time, the insides are really comfortable too. There is a vent for air on the mouth side and the top of the helmet but there's not much of a difference switching it up or down because you still would be pretty satisfied with how breathable the helmet it from the insides. While riding your bike, the air flow inside the helmet is subtle and balanced, not too much or too less air, just what you need kinda air flow. The visor is clear and clean but can get scratches after weeks or months of use because, as every other visor, it's plastic . On the left side though, you will find a switch to clip down the sun protection glass or whatever it is, although it's handy but I find it's tint to be a little too dark for my comfort, also the switch was kinda hard to press, you need some thumb strength, i don't know if it's supposed to be that way or is it a problem with my unit specifically and talking about the clip, it's good too, well positioned and doesn't really cause discomfort, not to me atleast. The helmet is from Steelbird which is ISI certificate meaning (quality) and every is good in this helmet. The best part though, I like how it's balanced overall and manages to look cool without being flashy, maybe the perfect design for guys like me and some of you.

The chin contain an important disclaimer sticker: "does not provide any addition protection to chin against impacts". Then what is the point of this full face helmet? if i press the bottom part together (i.e, press between back of neck and chin), it twists and become a circle from ellipse. The ability to twist or deform a helmet in that way is a very strong and clear indication of a lack of structural integrity and flimsy material. A genuine, ISI-certified full-face helmet is designed to be highly rigid. Its primary purpose is to absorb and distribute the force of an impact across the entire surface of the helmet, preventing that force from being transferred to your head and brain. The outer shell, especially the chin bar, should be made of a strong, hard composite that is extremely difficult to deform. The fact that you can easily twist it from an ellipse to a circle is a definitive sign that it will not provide adequate protection in a crash. Based on this physical test, along with your other observations (the chin part feeling like just plastic and the "no protection" disclaimer), all signs point to this helmet not being safe for any protective use.
