Easy set up / clear picture / great sound
Added this camera to the system we purchased years ago as the doorbell camera picks up movement across its vision, but not always head-on movement. It easily connected to the system and was simple to mount with two small screws provided. The magnet attaching it to the base is very strong and allows for many positions. We placed it about 8-10 feet above the entry with a 30 degree angle as suggested. The battery takes time to charge but after registering 99% on the app, it is still showing 98% after 4 days of service. I also purchased a back-up battery. These are simple to slide on.Clear picture and motion. Solid connectivity performance. Great sound and voice speaker. The only minor flaw I have noticed is that the magnet is so strong, when I twisted the camera during positioning, it came free of the base. If I had not had a firm grip on the lens I may have dropped it.I highly recommend this and all the SimpliSafeproducts I've used.

Excellent camera
Easy to install. Great images. Great design. Battery life is only Ok, but I I do have it installed in a high traffic location. I did have an issue when my WiFi had a power outage. I had to reset the camera to get it to pick up motion again, but it is working fine since then.

Great security camera!
I have the SimpliSafe security system for my home. The outdoor cameras are easy to install and use. Extremely weather proof and simple to charge and maintain. Love this brand for their quality and dependable products. Love the fact that it is not a permanent system install, rather, it can be easily removed and taken with you to a new location. It's the forever security system. I highly recommend this product.

Camera works well. Battery...not so much...
Cameras work well. Not the greatest resolution but they work. The magnet on one of them wasn't holding the camera in place so I reached out to Simplisafe and they replaced the mount. The battery doesn't last nearly as long as advertised. Had to buy a second pair of batteries.

Easy install and works well
We just needed 1 camera for the back yard. This covers such a wide area that we can see the side gate and back yard.Easy to hook into the rest of the system. So far worth the high price.
