We got this for our granddaughter who is consumed by singing and music at age 3. A little too much for a 3 year old but she has adapted well to using it without pushing any unnecessary buttons (lol) I'm sure this will be an item that will be loved in the home for a long time.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTEDThis is more than a "toy" Microphone has features that I haven't figured out how to use. Using this Microphone has helped boost my confidence and I have even begin singing solo in Church. My Grandkids love this as well and we cant wait till we are able to download music and record.

Bought this for my son and he absolutely loved it. The speaker was loud enough and the build quality seemed to be good. After using it for two days , the SD card somehow was pushed inside the SD slot and no longer worked. Disappointing that it only worked for a few days. Trying to contact the seller for a replacement.UPDATED:I contacted the seller and they were quick to respond and very gracious to offer a replacement. Increasing to 4 stars.

I’m giving this portable microphone 5 stars solely on its microphone Performance. It works well and the echo effect adds a great feature that my 5 year old son loves. The microphone tells you when the battery is low. The only down side to this product is that the songs it plays are extremely low; could of been a bit higher in volume. The only way to hear the music and make out the lyrics is to place the speaker to your ear.

This feels solid in hand, stands easily (while only mildly phallic), and connects easily with Bluetooth. The sound quality is pretty good, and there are lots of options for adjusting. Unfortunately, the volume slider for the microphone doesn't seem to work right - providing all or nothing, and ALL is too loud for my kids to use in many circumstances (including Dad being home). The loudness really limits how often it gets played with.It should be noted that the songs included on the SD card are only long snippets of some popular songs - a few portions of different hits tacked together into a couple of different tracks. It is ok considering all the other ways to get music on there (and the SD card itself), but don't be expecting full, individual songs on there.

I have another microphone and I was supposed to give this as a gift but when I tried it, I just love the sound of my voice from this one because it sounded a little raw and not muffled just like from my other mic. I might just have to buy a foam cover or something because sometimes if you're not so mindful, you could her a feedback or extra sound when you sing words with p, t, etc...

My daughter absolutely loves this microphone. It's fun and has a number of songs that she has learned to sing to on the chip. My one huge disappointment with it is the volume control. It doesn't work, so it is super loud and really limits her time in using it as my youngest still takes naps and it would wake her up no matter where this is used in our house. I wish there were a way to fix it, but we haven't discovered a way yet.

Can not say enough, our twins really enjoy these and we are able to use the blue tooth from our phones to play their favorite Pandora music
