Best gloves for me!
I love these. A frisbee teammate had been telling me to try these for years but I had another brand (there’s really only one other brand so without mentioning them you should know who they are) The problem was i rarely wore the other brand of gloves because I felt that they messed with my throws.Since buying these they haven’t messed with my throws at all and I now wear them every time I play. I went from only wearing gloves in the bitter cold to keep my hands warm to wearing them every game and I hate that it took me this long to try them.

Love these gloves
Finally just replaced my previous pair after wearing them for 4 club ultimate seasons. Wore through the tips on a couple of the fingers but the velcro and the seams are still in great shape. No complaints. Really helps throwing in all conditions whether wet or cold or hot and sweaty.

Not Very Durable
Pros:They protect my hand when I throw. They have a decent grip. They make me less squeamish about using certain grips (having my nails apply pressure to anything is very uncomfortable for me since it feels like they'll be torn off) although I'm pretty sure this is a glove thing in general. The glove is pretty comfortable once you adjust to wearing it, although it might be nice if there was a recommendation for what to do if you're right between sizes. Which, it is nice that there's a bit of leeway between them so choosing the wrong size doesn't completely murder you.Cons:The fingertips wear within 30 rounds (a good few with 18 holes) and a good bit of putting practice- only lasted a bit more than a month for me.If you're between sizes, I'd personally say going for the bigger size is the lesser of two evils because the smaller size can cause your grip to get weird and messed with my putting unless I adjusted it. (There wasn't enough material covering my hand so there could be space between my hand and the glove, which was what was touching the disc without me really putting pressure on it)Overall:I like the gloves and they were comfy for the most part, but they wear quickly if you go to a course as much as I do. If you're a beginner and not going out as much, I would say go for it because they're going to last you longer than they lasted me, but anybody who goes out often (at least once every day or two) should probably go for durability to get their money's worth.

Great pair of gloves!
I've been playing Ultimate regularly in summer leagues for the last several years. I'm a decent player. My backhands are good, I can catch well, but my forehands are around 50/50.With these gloves my backhand throws remain the same, but I've noticed an improvement with the confidence with which I catch the disc. Previously when there were some throws made at me that were a bit off there was maybe a 70/30 chance I would catch the disc properly (if the throw is made well I would catch properly almost 100% of the time :)), but with these gloves I've upped it up to maybe around 90/10 for catching throws that are a bit off! My forehand throws have also improved...I feel like they've gone up to maybe 75/25 with my throws going in the path I intended them to go in!Besides me personally noticing an improvement with my forehand throws and catching, my teammates have also commented the last couple of games since I've been wearing these gloves about how they think the gloves have been working out well for me too!I wasn't sure what to expect with these gloves...but after using them the last few games I didn't realize what I was missing all these years! In previous seasons I would jokingly ask some of my teammates who wore gloves "You wear gloves? Do they really help?" and I would always get the same answer "Yes, they help, you should get a pair!" But I kept putting it off because I wasn't convinced. Well, now I know better :)

The Ultimate Gloves for Ultimate Frisbee
After over a decade of playing Ultimate Frisbee and cycling through various brands of gloves, including Friction Gloves and LookFly, I've finally found the holy grail of gloves - Layout Ultimate Gloves. These gloves offer an exceptional grip that doesn't feel too sticky (like football gloves). The grip lasts a while, even after throwing them in the washing machine! These "Fit like a glove" but honestly, they fit like the BEST Gloves for ultimate. They fit snugly all the while not being restrictive. The mesh/back fabric is really breathable and the additional fabric on the thumb area make a great sweat towel. I absolutely love these for when it rains, it helps prevent some drops from the wet disc.

Colonel Sanders would approve.
For some asinine reason, I developed a problem with dropping passes over the last six months. I had some good success with some UnderArmour batting gloves but I wanted to try something specific for ultimate. Tried them today and these gloves are excellent. The dorsal surface of your hand breathes wonderfully in them while the palmar side has some very excellent, tacky coating that truly assists in helping you grab the disc. Personally, I feel they make my throws much crisper as well. My forehand flick releases beautifully in these and I can really send a laser at an open cutter. For the price, superb product. I also suffer from palmar hyperhidrosis and these gloves keep my hands dry. No more errant blades with these! Highly recommended if you have issues catching a disc, excessively sweaty hands, or want to throw that KFC-style extra crispy pass. My proximal hand to distal third digit measurement is roughly 18.6 cm so I opted for a small vs a medium so that the gloves would feel like an extension of the skin. I would say my full palm extension is only about 85% of normal with the smaller size but then again you don't catch a frisbee with your palm in the "high-five" position so I do not notice any functional restraints on the range of motion of my hands with the smaller size. Love them, will buy more if they ever quit on me.
