MMX 100 Analog Gaming Headset (Closed) Black

Used for a month. On Xbox series S, Android phone and laptop. I've been looking at this headset for a year now. It was 10k and got this baby on offer of 5k so decided to go for it. Reviews said too small and tight and may cause discomfort for some people. But my head is very small so it was perfect size for me. Sennheiser hd660s was kinda big for me lol. Build quality is very nice. Looks pretty. Dull grey with orange buttons. Mute button is a bit flimsy but I don't use it often so it's fine. Volume dial is alright I guess. I don't use that either so. Comes with smooth leather cups. If you don't like leather I suggest to buy a cover or get different headset. Microphone is awesome. Very clear mic. There's no flip to mute but it's carotid mic and u can twist and turn it to your preferable position. I love the mic. Works on xbox and phone and whatver plug and play. Thers no software or fancy tuning but I like how it works now. Headphone is closed back and I think it's slight U shaped sound, I don't really look at graphs. I admit in the beginning I thought the treble was bit sharp and bass was wayy low. I love the treble but it felt weird honestly. I wasn't used to headphones over the ear. So I tested out with my IFI UNO dac, it was too clear sound I gotta say. But after burning in and using for a month, I can tell NOW I love this headphones. I listen to music on xbox, even it's not purely wired, xbox is bluetooth, the sound is pretty nice. It is worth for 8k I'd say for the market of gaming headphones. This is not an Audiophile headset, but who cares if u want a mic. You will look like a cool pilot though lol. I recommend for people whose head is small and loves punchy distinct bass and not overall boom bass. It can appreciate certain sound. And u get a mic. Packaging is nice. Gives you 2 wires. You can watch YouTube opening box videos. I own simgot IEMs. But I prefer this for rock music and smooth gaming sessions with my buddy. I don't know for long sessions because I always stop playing after 2 hours. Don't expect customer service of beyerdynamic in India. I didn't find a good one to regietr warranty for now. Keep all the papers though in case u need it. Anyway I hope whover buys this falls in love with this headset as I do now. Thanks

These have some how become my goto Headphones. They are good not great but good at everything gaming, music and office calls and the whole lot of other things like movies and entertainment. Have just enough base to be enjoyable when watching series and movies, good for gaming fantastic mic i use it for office calls also and when paired with a good dac amp or audio interface it becomes better. It's not as detailed as the other byers but that's okay it's way more detailed than most of the consumer headphones, okaish sound stage. For that asking price looks fine and it's hard to beat. Absolute workhorse. .

Sound quality is good but Not upto the mark and not at all "german" quality product. Ear cups and head padding came off only after 2 months of use. Plastic quality is also not upto the mark. Regretting to purchase this product.

Don't buy this product in India it's impossible to get it fixed/replace, i bought it 2 months ago and the MIC is already dead and I don't know why, i even got the white colour while the one i ordered was black, i didn't mind the colour cuase verything worke fine up until a week ago, but now the MIC is dead and I have no clue if my headphones willl die next, either way WILL NOT RECOMMEND! SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE!

I am a Sound engineer and gamer and Beyerdynamic name got me excited. This one connects to pc via usb and to xbox controller via 3.5mm jack. Best of both worlds. Great sound for audio mixing too and video calls

The MMX100 headphones offer negligible support and poor build quality. I purchased them a year ago, and the ear pads have already torn apart. Customer support is unhelpful, as they don't provide replacement ear cups, making the headset practically useless now. Pros: Excellent mic quality Decent sound for gaming (but not ideal for music) If you’re buying these, the mic should be your only reason—otherwise, they’re overpriced junk.
