This gel works beautifully when paired with the right routine. I have been using this since the past 7 months. I use it after applying the Cantu Curl Custard, and together they give me soft, defined clumps with minimal frizz. The gel itself is lightweight, has a mild scent, and forms a nice hard cast that’s easy to scrunch out with a microfiber towel once fully dry.That said, don’t expect magic if you use this gel alone. Your results will depend heavily on your full routine, including your shampoo/conditioner, styling products, drying method, and even the weather. For example, I shampoo and condition with the L'Oréal Hyaluron Moisture range, apply the Cantu custard and then this gel on wet hair, then wear a satin bonnet for 30–40 mins before air drying completely without touching my curls.If you use this gel as part of a solid routine, it can really help define and hold your curls without weighing them down.On days 2 & 3, I wet my palms and use praying hands method to activate the products and then put it in a bonnet for 30 mins followed by air drying.

The product is almost glue like. Works best on wet hair, not damp, not dry, water dripping wet hair. Once you put on a generous amount, it will not budge. But it also dries out your hair like anything. Not recommended for people with already dry and frizzy hair

A quality of product is very good but quantity in this price is disappointment

I have been using this gel for about 3 months now. I have 2b-2c hair and it really doesn't work for me. The wavy stay for just one day and gets weird from day 2. I use the finger coiling method and give good 20 minutes to just gel my hair and it does me no good.The ends start to get too dry from the next day and too tangled.I am just trying to finish the bottle now. It was a big purchase for me as CGM products aren't cheap. The blue bottle gel of arata also isn't worth buying. I switched to this one for a stronger hold but no help

It's good for frizzy and curly hair ...and as afterwash hairgel ...works well without hair cream too ! Completely eliminates frizz, and forms the perfect cast for my curls, which become soft and bouncy once you scrunch and break the cast with your fingers. Just need one small palm dot size quantity for shoulder length hair and a diffuser for getting that perfect hold.

Its little expensive but totally worth it
