The metal D rings on the side can be used for your flipline if you climb trees to be double tied in to the tree when you are making cuts. I'm not sure for rock climbing.

Good harness!

Comfortable fit and ample hookups. Versatile for a climbing harness. Adjusting can be cumbersome but it locks in great and stays put! Excellent value and not too heavy for all day use. Stitching and durability are good as well.
