Classic Games, Star Quality Paddle Ball 12 Inch

I purchased two of these for my kids. After reading so many bad reviews for many other brands of paddleballs, I decided to rely on the reviews for this one and made the purchase. I found the game to be durable and fun. The string is very long, and the instructions tell you how to adjust the string for your proper height (measure from the top of your knee to the ground, then adjust the string by wrapping the exra around the handle). So as my kids grow, we can re-adjust the string. The instructions tell you how to repair the string if it breaks. On one of our paddeballs, the ball popped off within minutes. However, it was a quick fix because you simply re-thread the string through the ball and we tied a better knot. The string appears sturdy. The board is sturdy as well. Great toy.

Did we receive the wrong thing? (It looks like the Amazon photo.) How can others be saying “Sturdy, Great Toy” and “Best Paddle Ball for the money”? We have to side with the reviewer who said “Would give this no stars if I could”…Here’s our take (our first Amazon review ever, as we recall – the product is that bad):– the string is much too short– the string is completely the wrong kind, not nearly stretchy enough (common rubber bands would do the job nicely)– the string came out of the ball within a couple of minutes of starting to try it (perhaps there was a knot that came untied)– the instructions are quite good, but the beautiful words do not match the reality of the product at all (hey, talk is cheap, printing beautiful words costs no more than printing stupid words – but in this case, beautiful words become stupid… hate to sound harsh)– the packaging is of very high quality (does one detect some sarcasm there? hope so)"Star Quality"? "Classic Game"? ...yeah, right...We didn't have an opportunity to find out if the paddle or ball are reasonable!It's not convenient for us to return anything from here in Thailand...

Got this for my grandson who breaks everything. I got it because they said that this toy helps those with ADHD to learn to concentrate. Two months and still working fine.Good quality - don't see this quality in the stores. Would definately recommend it.

Ball came off of paddle easy when you hit it.

The paddle is sturdy, I will say that. But the experience was not enjoyable. The string was much shorter than other paddle balls that I have had and in my opinion it took a lot of the fun out of it. And then the ball came off the string and I haven't found the will to reattach it because it wasn't much fun to begin with.I thought I was investing in a nice paddle, but was disappointed that it did not offer the entertainment value of previous cheaper paddles.

Great fun...Sturdy and lasts much longer than the ones in the store.Got them for all my grandkids, who are now competing with one another!

Love it!!!!! Pro status. Great wood but like all, the ball is going to break off.
