VHS RECORDER AND DVD PLAYER (Renewed)

I have gone through four VCRs, this is the first one that actually works. They clearly know what they're doing. It was packaged well and they included a remote and cords - I didn't need them but appreciated it just the same. Good work.

I saw some complaints, but I did not experience any of the problems. It was restored professionally, well packaged, and came with everything. It looks news, and most important everything has worked. I used mine to playback and convert over 60 tapes without any issues.

The one I bought was "renewed" - but the VCR would not play and the remote only partially worked.

We've had this nice looking vhs/dvd player for a month and got tired trying to get it to work. Will try again soon. Hope it works, would love to see old movies on vhs that we cant get on dvd.

Renewed VHS/DVD received in good order. Well packed had cables and universal remote. I was glad for this as some of the reviews said that these were missing. I was able to find instruction manual on line. Plays good VHS tapes great. Plays ok tapes ok. Plays DVD great. I got the universal remote to do basic functions, on/off, play, stop, slow motion, record, FF and Rew. Unable to access menu, set clock, program recordings. I tried another universal remote that I have, same results. Oh well it works. I may order another after the holidays. I wonder if the renewed folks are interested in old used units to renew? Or offer a trade-in on purchase of another renew.
