Building blocks
Fantastic set of wooden building blocks in a fun city scene theme including buildings like a school, police station and hospital. Over 120 pieces including vehicles, they are quite small and can be a bit fiddly to stack but that is all part of the challenge. Great for developing motor skills and hand eye coordination as well as creative and imaginative play. Comes with a small playmat and a neat drawstring bag for storage.£21.99 (at the time of review) feels a bit expensive for what it is, the set is quite small but fun to play nonetheless. Well enjoyed by the children and i like that these are something a bit different to the usual plain wooden building blocks you usually see.

A nice set
Plenty of variety. The base is flimsy cardboard and only really works on a hard surface.

Blocks Are good
These are smaller in size so perfect for a child three years old or older. They include trees, vehicles, stop signals, some of the blocks have letters on one side and other side has windows, doors, etc.. They are in various colors. They are more pastel but still perfect for a boy or girl as there are some bright colors included as well. There is a book that shows different buildings so you know what blocks you need to build it. Of course it is fun to build things with your own imagination as well. There is a puzzle that you must put togetherr and that is basically the playmat for the pieces. The puzzle is not made of the high quality wood like the blocks. It is a cheap and flimsey cardboard that doesn't stay together well on a tile floor. I am sure if my floor was more of a flat surface it would work better but still not sure how long that puzzle will last. I like puzzle concept as it makes the child use his or her brain prior to being able to play. It needs to be made with different materials. A wooden one would be awesome or a thick cardboard one like the typical floor puzzles are made of. A playmat would also be great.

Faded colours
Some buildings had their colours faded, not sure if this normal

Gets your creativity going
This is a really nice wooden building blocks that gets your creativity going. It is so good and fun to play with it even for adults as they join the kids in their play. There is no set of rules of what to build or how to build are you can just let your imagination run free and do whatever you want. The puzzle helps you a bit with organising your city but you can play without that and build basically whatever you wantThe pieces are really nice and smooth to the touch. They are well-made and beautifully coloured. There are no sharp edges that would hurt kids while playing. It’s a really good quality set. There is an information book that gives you some ideas of what you can build.I like that there’s a bag included so you can store them safely away easily. Really satisfied with it

comprehensive set of building blocks
A comprehensive set of 100 colourful building blocks together with a 20 piece puzzle that doubles as a play mat and a useful drawstring bag to keep all the pieces togetherThe wooden blocks are --smooth with no sharp edges-are non toxic-painted with lead free and phthalates free paintThe set has the CE mark and the UK EN71 so perfectly safe for young children. The colourful blocks come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Some have numbers and letters on them. Others state buildings like - store, hospital, fire station etc. There are vehicles and people and accessories like trees, petrol pump etc - so many items which allow children to use their imagination and build endless city scenes.I like this set and my grandchildren really enjoy playing with the blocks. The puzzle play board is the only item in this set that I feel could be improved on.I think that the blocks themselves have enough play value and there is no need to also have a puzzle. The children found that where the edges of the jigsaws meet the blocks do not stack up as the puzzle does not lie completely flat.It would be so much better if there was a fold out mat or even better a wooden play area.
