Work bowl should be redesigned
I love kitchen aid. This is my second food processor. Unfortunately the work bowl from my older food processor cracked and they had non in stock so I had to repurchase a new one. I received the food processor which I use daily unfortunately the work bowl seems to have similar issues. It’s too flimsy. Considering the price point , I would think Kitchen Aid should look into redisigning the work bowl. This is food processor is an absolute necessity for someone who loves cooking their meals quickly

don't make them like they used to
Had to finally move on from my 30+ year old Kitchenaid due to the bowl being cracked. Absolutely NO replacement parts available. Purchased this new one as a replacement. Let me tell you , they don't make them like they used to. The old one was a tank. HEAVY and powerful. Instant response to controls. The new one is very lite. And because it is tall (old one was wide) it all seems a bit unstable. There is also a delay between pressing the buttons and the motor ramping up. Odd, no big deal, but it is something I notice.I like: 1) bowl clicks easily onto the base/motor. used to have to twist it on. 2) top of the bowl is easily removed for cleaning 3) I can store all the bits I got in the bowl itself. Granted that is just the blade, adapter and single shred/slice disk. We'll see how long this one lasts.
