I recently saw an advertisement for this gadget. Given how much I love mushrooms, I read many reviews and decided to give it a try. I had 4 pounds of baby bella and white button mushrooms to clean and slice before the 2022 Thanksgiving holiday. I dreaded how long it was going to take to slice and chop up. So, I ordered this tool, which was delivered very quickly. I'm happy to say that I absolutely love, love, love this tool!!! It made very quick work of slicing all those mushrooms!!! I loved it so much that I bought one for my cousin which was delivered yo her the next day! Hints on using it successfully:1. Select mushrooms that fit nicely into the cutting area with a bit if room left around the inside border.2. Slightly press the mushroom into the cutting blades, cap side up, so that it seats nicely into the cutter.3. Use a quick motion to cut through the mushroom. This somewhat prevents the mushroom from getting mashed into the channels of the device.4. Rinse and clean out the tool using a kitchen dish brush and warm, soapy water as soon as possible after you're finished slicing your mushrooms. I found it extremely easy to wash and clean this tool since nothing was left to dry on the blades or within the slicing channels.5. Hang your tool on a hook in your pantry for storage. I does not fit well into a drawer.Enjoy this wonderful kitchen gadget!!! ♡

After years of either overworked mashed potato, or slightly lumpy mashed potato, I finally bit the bullet and bought this gadget after researching which potato ricers were the best.It arrived today, and is a thoroughly sturdy little beast, but nonetheless, it’s still looks refined and beautifully made.I made my first ever batch of potato-ricer-mash, and it was a revelation (if a kitchen gadget can be revelation?!)It made truly perfect, light, fluffy absolutely lump free, silky-smooth mash, and the best bit of all, it made it with total ease. For some reason I assumed that it would be quite a chore to push the potatoes through the machine, but it has some clever little gear shenanigans going on, which makes it easy enough for three year old to do.It also cleans like a dream, but you do need to clean it straight away rather than leaving it overnight I think.Really, this is my new favourite thing and I imagine the next few days are going to be spent boiling and mashing all kinds of veg. Just for the fun of it and also to see all the uses I can put it to.If a potato ricer is what you’re after… Please do yourself a favour and buy this one, it is outstanding!
