Best barrel kit hands down. You only need a couple of adjustable wrenches and a small hole saw to install this setup. With the faucet being separate from the bulkhead fitting installation is pretty simple, and there are clear instructions in the box.Another huge selling point of this kit is the threaded adapter that goes into the regular opening of the barrel. This made it insanely simple to attach it to the hose on our Oatey Mystic gutter diverter.With water in the barrel, the opening on the spigot fills up watering cans pretty easily. You can also attach a small hose on the end to get the water out. Just remember that it should be a couple feet above ground level to get enough pressure.

This was relatively easy to install using the string method to lower it down in and grab with a finger. Be sure to check your thread pattern on your barrel before buying this product. My barrel has a course thread pattern so the cap with male end for the rain diverted is useless. I was really disappointed to find it will not work and I haven’t been able to find one with a thread pattern that matches my barrel.

This product was easy to install on our water barrells. Perfect fit for the 2" npt bung opening. Combined with our downspout diverter, it is perfect for our needs.I drilled the 1 1/4 hole and used a paracord rope to fish the inner fitting to the opening. Smooth sailing after that. All fittings worked great.

Unless you specifically know your bung thread type, don't bother ordering. I have several barrel types that were used for transporting olives, and it doesn't fit any of them. I couldn't even get it to crossthread into the lids. The three peice bulkhead + valve setup is asking for leaks, which mine does. I'll have to add Teflon tape between the bulkhead and valve next spring. Go for the simpler two peice bulkhead & valve in one. Those haven't leaked for me yet.

I had tried to make my own fitting with a screw on insert and ended up breaking my cap. When i searched for a replacement cap this came up. Both are easy to install and work great.

Used these to replace a spigot I accidentally damaged. This is a higher quality spigot at a reasonable price. Installation was easy with the right tools. Happy with this product.

Super easy to install, assuming you have the right tools: drill or driver, 1-1/4” paddle bit or hole saw, utility knife, Teflon tape, channel locks or pipe wrench.

Bought this after returning a full kit. It was always the best choice, but I started out looking for something cheaper. I also tried to find something similar at the hardware store, but couldn't. Spent too much time running around and came back to where I started.
