Garden Zone 24 Inches x 100 Feet 19-Gauge Galvanized Hardware Cloth with 1/2-Inch Openings

I am only giving this thing 3 stars because nothing on the product information mentions prop. 65 info. Considering it has "Garden Zone" plastered right on the front of it yet only inches away is "This product contains lead..." I wish I had known this before i ordered. Yes you get twice as much for the same price as the big box stores but i was shopping for something that did not contain lead. How much lead does it contain?... I do not know. But this is made in China and who knows what they put into this product. I do not feel all that comfortable screening in my garden beds with this anymore knowing that every time it rains or I water it could be putting lead into my vegetables.

This is the one you want, very high quality!! Have used many different hardware cloths, e.g. from big box hardware stores, specialty garden and landscape supply for contractors, etc. This one from Origin Point is strong, the lines are all straight in every direction, the wires don’t pop from their welds when bending, shaping, cutting, and it doesn’t leave that white powdery residue everywhere from the galvanization process. Highly recommend, am ordering another roll to finish my garden project right now. I did not get any compensation for writing this review, just an excellent product among many low quality offerings.

Sturdy, doesn’t buckle when installed correctly. Connections remain intact. Only consideration is the holes were small (which I wanted) but they were too small to fit on the hooks on the T posts. I forgot to check that out. So I attached it to the posts with wire for now but will change to plastic ties once I received them as the wire will rust quickly. Would buy again for sure.

This metal mesh fabric is my 'go-to' choice for protecting small garden plots from critters that don't dig and for making a mason's sieve to break up and clean soil. The fabric can be readily cut using tin snips or wire cutters for use in making panels. It is relatively stiff and sturdy so animals can't easily deform it to slip underneath. It also wraps well around sturdy metal posts and the mesh size allows use of ring clips to attach the screen to holes in the familiar green posts or to itself to make a gate that can be pulled back or refastened time after time. I have repurchased this product as needed from one place or another for many years. When used to sift soil, scraping the soil through the mesh with a hoe, of course the wires will break apart over a season.

Very nice to use for my outdoor kennel. It is a bit difficult to work with because the roll is wound very tightly, especially once you get to the end of the roll. Wear gloves and keep your face back because it will get springy and hit you in the face and cut you if you are not careful. I attached it to my kennels using stainless steel staples with an air stapler. That worked very well. The small spacing means no one, including kids can put their fingers through it and get bit, if your dog bites that is. It worked very well for my project.

As expected 1/4 inch (6mm) hardware cloth with no manufacturing defects. We use a lot of 1/4 inch cloth around the ranch to keep rattlers out of the yard and rats out of the chicken runs. 1/2 inch hardware cloth is usually heavier gauge wire (19 gauge) so keep that in mind. We use this 23 gauge by fastening it to a closely spaced substructure like sheep fence or cattle panels.

Shipped early... it's a roll of wire... works well for my rabbit cages. No sore hocks and the like...Only complaint was the box barely made it through delivery and I didnt even get it doen the driveway before it busted and fell on my foot. Wire is durable... foot not so much.

I used this product to keep the squirrels from getting into my attic. It worked well. I am also going to cover my gutters with it.

Using this for my chicken pen. Prefer the 1/2" because it keeps rodents from stealing feed and keeps the predators out. Arrived in a cardboard box so zero issues with damage. Great price too and delivered to my door!

Cheapest price for the amount of material you get, otherwise, it's the same hardware cloth you get everywhere.

Perfect! Goes a lot further than you think. Price is fairly good, better than most hardware stores but I have since found it cheaper in RONA.

Great stuff way better then chicken wire for building pens etc.
