Just when you think things are looking up! BAM!
Man poor Frank and team Zeppelin cant catch a break! This book was a straight continuation from where book 1 left off. Lots more exploring, a few more fights, and a ton of crap for poor Frank to deal with. And just when life looks good, along comes fate to drop a bomb on his life. With how this one ended I'll be desperately curious to see what book 3 holds!

4 One Spell To Unite Them All - In Death! Stars
Mercenary Manager is the second book in the Dark Isekai LitRPG Teambuilder, The Fantasy World of Dorbin series by Chad Opo.Super. Annoying. Ending. Of course peace could not last, this is Dornin we're talking about. But, alas, I'm still upset about this transition the next book will showcase. The arena fight with the Phoenix and consequential destruction of the orc Emperor and so many thousands of his people was honestly entertaining. Frank is an ongoing surprise and I know that he will be even more intriguing as this series continues.Mega sad about Lexum. Surprised that Saphire didn't pop up somewhere in the mix of all that. Wondering why this neutral, of a sort, dragon kept popping up and if she had anything to do with the coincidental rescue...?What will become of Team Zeppelin now? Their forces are split and I'm wondering if anything will stand between them reconnecting quickly..?

good but short 26ch
Good read only issue is just as it seems that the story is finally taking off it ends and now book 3 is needed to finish what I feel will be another 26-40 ch which really should have been in this book.Still worth the read.

Do we need arena fights?
I loved this book. It continued the running joke about how the Arena Manager main character spends more time outside the arenas than in them. However it still gave us enough memorable arena content to satisfy me. Definitely interested in the finale third book.

So freaking Awesome!
Yeah wow what a trip. This was a really great read. I truly do love how the MC grows as more challenges are presented to him. I honestly have now idea what is going to happen next but I am supper pumped for it!

Too short but still good
This felt like half a book too me, I REALLY enjoyed the first one and this book did continue what I enjoyed but was too short and not much happened, they begin to build up and then have to restart all over, then they are reset again at the end. I’ve a feeling book 3 will not be what I want either. The world building is so fun in this series I really wish the author would do more then 3 books.

Great addition
A great addition to the series I wasn’t disappointed. With this book we find out a little bit more about different species and the team gets closer to finding home. Frank definitely makes great strides in adapting to Denton.

Good story that falters hard at the finish.
Very unsatisfying ending, the rug pull at the end that displaced all the hard work the MC had put in at this point kinda feels cheap, pointless, and contrived to make an excuse to have a third book.
