I use this foam under my autopilot board and between quadcopter and camera brushless gimbal with O-ring suspension. Great vibration damping, and unlike a lot of other foam materials, holds it's shape even under constant pressure for weeks, when pressure is removed immediately springs back again. With other foam, it would start to deform, my O-rings would go slack, camera gimbal would flop or fall off. This foam doesn't have that issue.Also absorbs CA glue very readily, so easy to stick this foam securely to various surfaces, just use a little extra glue to account for the glue it absorbs

You get one piece. All dimensions are clearly stated on the Amazon page. The foam is very good quality, just the right amount of firmness, not soft like regular foam rubber. I am using it as a lumbar support in my car, for that purpose it works just fine.

I'm glad it is not rock hard like styrofoam or those hard foam mats. It has some cushion to it which is what I am looking for. I have it inside on the bottom of my messenger bag to help absorb most of the shock when placing it on hard surfaces. The bag carries a DSLR + few lenses, so I find this foam perfect for keeping my equipment safe with the added cushion.
