Applied Magnets3" x 1" Grade N52 Neodymium Disc Magnet

I wanted one of these magnets for a while and I’m glad I found the right one. To say it performs as advertised is putting it mildly. The magnet is well worth every penny.On a side note, I can’t say enough about how well the seller packaged the magnet and the care that was taken. It took around 10 minutes just to unwrap it, which is a GREAT thing, considering how powerful it is! Big time kudos for the extra safety precautions taken.WARNING…This magnet is EXTREMELY powerful and can physically hurt you and/or destroy any electronics you may have near it. I strongly recommend placing the magnet inside a thick sock and always leaving it in there, even during use. Store the magnet in its own container and away from anything even slightly magnetic.

Using this for science projects, and it is amazing. It's strength is unparalleled with anything else I've seen. In our latest experiment my daughter and I used it to repel away fruit, such as grapes. (Diamagnetism) Try doing that with a regular magnet!!Be careful though, this is not toy. Don't get anything metallic near it. It is also very brittle and there is no surface coating so it will chip easily. But because there is no surface coating, there is nothing in the way of reducing it's power.If you want the strongest magnet you can buy, look no further. This is it. Find a place to store it. So it won’t damage anything. Also put it in a sock, or u will never get it off anything

Super super strong magnets, I recommend everyone be very careful when handling this magnet. It can cause serious damage to your finger bone so wear gloves all the time and stay away from metal when you carry it in your hand.

I gave it one star for "easy to remove" because it's NOT easy to remove and that's the point. Damn near snapped the tip of my fanger off. Good magnet. I'm buying some more!
