I've bought many pieces of MDF before for DIY projects and most of the time, they've had rough parts or have been dusty. This one is perfect for what I needed it for - nice and smooth and accurately cut.

It's an exactly A4 sized piece of mdf, 12mm thick. It has a smooth, even surface. If you lay an A4 sheet on the board, there is no margin of board. The edges are quite sharp. It helps to slightly sand the sharp edges. It is advisable to varnish the wood to protect it from water, paints etc. Otherwise water is inevitably absorbed by the mdf. Due to the thickness of the board compared to its dimensions it is unlikley to warp. Overall it is exactly as described on Amazon and is entirely satisfactory.

This A4 size is exactly that - so if you want to stretch A4 paper you will need the bigger size. It's a good product, smooth, strong and light.

Probably expensive for what it is and I could have very easily got my husband to sort one for me but I wanted it quickly.Pleased with it though.
