Hard to print on from the aspect of having the necessary software on your computer to do it

The price is awesome, compared to other options. It's just light card stock. Be aware that the size is not within USPS parameters, so you may wind up having to pay more than standard postage if you're mailing them. Also, I had to futz around for a long time to get them to print correctly because the size is nonstandard (or at least, it's not among the standard choices on my printer or in Word). You can get a template from the manufacturer's website, but I looked at it and it looked like a template for a different card style (two per sheet, maybe, or for four postcards per sheet). I could have contacted them, but it was the weekend, so figured my own method out. (I have since talked with Mike in Customer Care, and he says one of their tasks for the new year is to update those templates!) The print came out nice and clean. I finished my cards with a spritz of Krylon Shimmer Opal, which gives them a subtle sparkle (can't really see it in the photo), but I recommend something like that to make them look a little more "finished." You will waste some cards getting your artwork the way you want it, but I'm used to that and ordered two packs. Will likely use Desktop Publishing Supplies again!

The paper itself is fine, however I only received 36 cards. There are supposed to be 40 cards in the pack.

I like to make homemade cards using pen & ink and/or markers (fine point or watercolor markers). The thickness of the card stock is good for this. The price is reasonable so that if I don’t like the result of my artistic endeavor, I don’t feel too bad about tearing it up or reusing it for collage.

Great quality! I was looking for blank cards that I could use for anything that came up. Thank you notes, birthdays, thinking of you. I figured I would just write or draw and design something on the front for the occasion and these allow me to do just that!
