Great value, but can be fragile
Cheap flagpole, but great value. Can't find another 20' pole for this price.I bought one of these a couple years ago for music festivals and camping. Worked good enough for 2 years, sometimes the sections get sticky but I always got them free. The plastic rings do nothing, it just seems to mess up with you "loosen" the sections too much. You have to "tighten" them with some muscle otherwise I rarely have a section collapse. It's not hard, but a child couldn't do it tight enough. At full extension with a flag, I feel like this is good for maybe 20mph wind tops. I've had TWO 3x5' flags going on a breezy day at a music festival, and this stayed up straight. I figured screw it, threw this in my truck bed at ~8' high, put a flag on it, lets see how strong it is. The top bent in half somewhere between 30-40mph lol. Bought another one because it still works perfect while stationary. So yes this has very thin aluminum walls and it can snap, but just be smart with it and you can't beat the price

Amazing for music festival totems!
I used it with a 2ftx2ft flag and it was great as a totem at a music festival. It is easy to expand and close down. Light weight. It does fall down sometimes because it's a twist lock. so I had a few times when it came down but I was able to very easily fix it.Also went through alot in 3 days and looks great. we will definitely be using it for years to come!

So far, so good
It works well so far. The wind whipping around makes the pole twist and slide down from time to time. It should have a "lock in" spot but it doesn't. It may not hold up over time, but the mounting post (sold separately) is very sturdy, so another pole would also work.

Excellent Flag Pole
I became a member of the Patriot Guard Riders after they escorted my 97 year old father to his graveside service. Daddy served as a Navy Signalman during World War II.One of the members told me to purchase a quality 3x5 foot flag and get a telescoping flag pole.He sent me the link to this flag pole. He told me it was a good price and looked like it would work well for me.Most Patriot Guard Riders travel by motorcycle and their flag pole collapses to fit into their saddle bags.Since I travel by car to join the Patriot Guard Riders when the group does a Flag Line, I just put my flag in the car.It holds up well when the wind blows and it is sturdy. It is light weight and easy to use.I highly recommend this flag pole. ENJOY! 🇺🇸

Good product
This poles maiden voyage out really tested its limits. It was a windy day. The seas were rough my friend. I was expecting it to break but it held its own. I’ve read some reviews where they complained about the clips for the flag. They are plastic and on my trip they did look stressed. I brought some zip ties Incase they did bust but they did not.I was very satisfied and enjoyed the heck out of it.

Very brittle
Looked good. I actually have another for my travel trailer when camping, but DO NOT use this going down the road. At its lowest setting for a Memorial Day parade it broke going down the road.We will see how the return works

Better than expected
Product is sturdy but does bend. Held two flags with decent wind well

Does it's job. Just too flexible for our needs. Suited more for smaller flags
This is an OK flag pole. FYI it is a very flexible flag pole. It says it can handle 2 flags. Yes....but 2 3x5 standard flags will give this thing a work out on a moderately windy day. On a heavy windy day you'll want to take it down. It just can not handle that and will bend to the breaking point. The clasps that hold the flag are a PITA and a major fail. I had to zip tie them tightly to hold the flags and keep them from sliding down. The pole is easy enough to put up and works well with the steel bases sold on amazon that fit under a vehicle tire. We put ours under the tongue jack of our camper and the 900lbs tongue weight of the camper itself held it in place w/o issues.Honestly? This pole will be delegated to race day banner duty. It just doesn't do my American flag the justice it deserves. (to be held securely, straight and wave proudly in the wind).
