SUNBA Mini High Speed IP 1080p PTZ Security Camera, Outdoor, 20X Optical Zoom, Auto-Focus, 328ft Night Vision (405-D20X)

The media could not be loaded.  The Sunba 405 is a great series of camera. I purchased two of these cameras, great purchase! The Sunba 405 has amazing optics at full 30fps with rock solid performance utilizing Blue Iris with PTZ capabilities. The small footprint of the camera does not draw attention. Quality is great and superior over fixed Cameras. See attached for example.

Camera was installed same day it arrived. It took a little time to program it, but once that was done the camera worked very well and the zoom is spectacular. Last night, a little over 24 hours after the camera arrived, it quit working. It just went totally dead. The manufacturer supplied power supply is working, and there is voltage at the camera's power connection. Unplugging and plugging the power supply at the wall receptacle did nothing. The camera doesn't move or attempt to reboot. It is totally dead. This isn't my first rodeo with a security camera. I have another outdoor PTZ HD security camera that's a year and a half old and it's still working just fine, especially with Blue Iris software. The Sunba also worked well with Blue Iris, until it died yesterday.I was just in contact with Amazon's customer service. They were very helpful and courteous. Unfortunately, since they only fulfilled the order and didn't sell it, I can't get a replacement from them, only the seller. I don't want to wait several weeks for the replacement to arrive from overseas, so Amazon is handling the return and refund. Thank You, Amazon, for the help.To Sunba, yesterday the tech who installed my camera removed it so that I could ship it back to Amazon. Before packing it up, the tech plugged in the supplied power supply to see if the camera would power up. It did not, but when the tech moved the power cable at the molded splitter, the one where one cable from the camera goes into that molded splitter and then separate cables come out, such as for power, Ethernet and so forth, the camera suddenly powered up. When releasing that cable, the camera stopped working and went dead. Moving that cable again, the camera powered back up and once again went dead when the cable was let go. Apparently there is a bad connection inside of that molded and sealed splitter. Hope this information helps.

Great camera, had problems at first (due to getting power to the camera).CON:Has a 2.9 degree view (this camera would be the best if it had 3.6 degrees).My power problem:I used a POE splitter to give the camera power and that failed, the camera was acting like it was broken but then I plugged it in to the wall (no POE over 100 feet) and it worked so I had to buy 12 AWG wire and power the camera that way (see a voltage calculator).

Have had this camera by Sunba for over a year and works very well. Have 3 other older camera's (1) 805-20x Autotracker version and (2) 502-something) For 3-4 years and still working very good so far.

Have other sunba cameras that are very good, this model (405 20x) is junk

I had no experience of these type of cameras , but decided to buy the 405-20x from Sunba . I struggled a little to figure out how to mount it etc.. but all worked fine. Very good picture quality ,impressed with ptz function and zoom lens worked great with good autofocus. This was purchased in July2017.Now roll on 1year 9 months and problems have been showing up regularly. Disappearing off the network for several days at a time despite being directly connected with cat 6e cable. Then reappearing out of the blue. No idea what the problem is.Now the worst problem is in the last few weeks , camera will not focus at all at full zoom and only works at around 12x and below. Wont focus manually either.Ive just wrote to Sunba through Amazon asking for a replacement whole lens module of the IMX307 type which is H265 compared to original ones. Ive seen videos on youtube from Sunba replacing the original lens modules with the IMX 307 Starvis/Starlight one.Im hoping this will solve my problem of the focusing etc,, at least as long as SUnba honour their 2 year warranty promise for replacement parts!!!!I will update this review if and when Sunba reply to my query.

La telecamera è davvero molto veloce e ben costruita, massiccia e di dimensioni compatte, lo zoom a 20x è ottimo, pecca un po' di astigmatismo al suo limite ma ci sta. L'illuminazione va davvero a 150 metri, ma posso assicurarvi che in una zona abitata illuminata di notte non servirà nemmeno accendere gli IR, l'obiettivo è grande e fa entrare bene la luce necessaria. Onvif perfetto, configurazione molto dettagliata. Un ringraziamento particolare a Mr. Ksyusha di Sunba per avermi aiutato nella configurazione e messa in esercizio, davvero un customer care impeccabile!
