Tovolo Tool for Kitchen Meal Prep to Scoop Spread Slice and Scrape, Pesto, Large, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

After years of trying to use a knife or an ill-fitting spatula to scrape out the last of the peanut butter or mayonnaise from the jar, I discovered this tool. It's a marvel! It's the right length and shape to clean out jars without smearing stuff on your hand. The other side of the tool is excellent for spreading peanut butter or condiments on a sandwich. It can be thrown in the dishwasher to clean up. The smooth, simple lines don't have crevices or ridges or such to catch food in and make it hard to clean.It doesn't make me a better cook. It doesn't save me bags of money. But it does make life easier and less irritating.

I was looking for something with some shape yet slim enough to fit into small jars to scrape out contents and stiff enough to do the job. It's silicone so if you get it near a hot pan it won't melt away. The shape of this is particularly good for small jars with shoulders and smaller openings, but also works when filling squeeze bottles (I transfer mayonnaise into a squirt bottle and this gets around the shoulder of the mayo jar yet fits into the opening of the squeeze container.)

Works to get nut or seed butter (or other spreads ) out of jar, scooping out of measuring spoon, and for spreading. Easy to wash. Love it!

Purchased in the “Small” (8”). I just finished writing four reviews of products I couldn’t give more than 3 stars to; maybe I am super picky but lately so much of what I buy ends up really disappointing me. But this dandy little tool from Tovolo is not one of them! So far I have exclusively used it to scrape out whatever deliciousness is lurking under my mini food processor’s blades or for stubborn/thicker foods on the sides of the bowl. It is very stiff and rather narrow and so if you’re looking for something more flexible or with a wider footprint, I’d recommend just sticking to a true spatula. But since I have oodles of bendy utensils, ones I grab more to aid in guiding/pouring rather than true scraping, a small and firm ‘pusher’ was definitely needed for my kitchen. I have *not* attempted to slice with it nor have I used it for spreading anything—I admit I tend to use a dedicated tool for each of those specific jobs. But if you’re low on kitchen tools and want more bang for the buck, this certainly would fit the bill as a multi-tasker. (I am a little confused why this is rated as a #1 Tovolo tool for “ice cream scoopers” as this it isn’t the thing I would personally choose out to scoop ice cream. Multi-tasker and very, very handy? Yes! To replace a traditional ice cream scooper? Probably not. But removing every little nibble of peanut butter left in the jar? Oh, this tool is made for it!)The quality is excellent, it didn’t arrive with any off putting odors like so many things these days do, and is sized perfectly for my needs (the Small version is just 8” so make sure you note the dimensions). I’ve run it through the dishwasher with no problems. Very happy with the purchase and foresee having this a long time! Also, an absolutely perfect stocking stuffer for any cook, young or old!

I bought this to stir and use with my Ninja Creami containers, so that the sides would not get scraped by metal tools. Perfect size for this, and has many other uses. I try to avoid getting too many extra kitchen tools/gadgets that I have to find a place to store, but this little tool is totally worth it. The flexible end isn't super flexible, which is good because it still has the strength you need to stir and scrape things, but it's still flexible enough to scrape something clean.

Used one like this at a cooking class. Loved it there. This one was much smaller but does the job.

I don't know how I ever got by without this. It lets you get every single drop out of the can or container, plus you can switch it around and stir with it. So much better than any spatula I've ever used.

Great, flexible and useful kitchen utensil. Can be used for so many purposes. I wouldn't be without one for cooking, mixing, scraping and spreading.

I had bought this same spatula in white and gray color a few years ago at a kitchen boutique and I love it. I wanted to buy another and finally found it on Amazon. It is the best spatula to use when mixing items for baking and also best scraper to get all the dough out of the bowl. I love it. Be careful if using the soft curved end while mixer is turning because blades of mixer can cut plastic end of scraper.
