Glorious Layered Desserts

I made the Caramel Brownie Trifle for a party and had some at home I was saving for my husband....he never got any because it was just too hard not to eat! So unbelievably yummy :) He was not real happy when he saw the picture and how delicious it looked. This was such a hit, can't wait to try more of the delicious looking desserts. Two of my favorite parts of the book is the picture of the ingredients- it makes it so much easier when I go to the store. The second part I really appreciated was that there were pics and easy reference to where each glass piece for the desserts could be purchased! Beautiful as a coffee table book too!!!

I have always considered dessert the most important meal of the day. This beautifully executed book has loads of helpful hints and ideas to make your presentation special. The photography is first class and makes you wish you had a spoon to try each one. The recipes you can put together with ease. The recipes are designed for individual servings, but I have found it fun to layer the recipes in a large dish like a 13"x9" dish for easy travel to a potluck or family occasion. It is all delicious. All lovers of dessert need this book in their library. It is also an excellent choice as a gift for a friend.

My friends and family really enjoyed these desserts it's a nice change from the same old desserts, they are easy to make taste amazing, plus if you check with your local dollar store you can find nice containers to use for your desserts, I found glass jars with a nice lid on them everyone loved them. The recipes are easy to follow you can buy all ingredients at your local grocery store. So for a new twist buy this book it's worth every cent keep the ingredients on hand quick and easy to whip up and everyone loves them.

I love making trifles and ordered this book for new ideas. I found the recipes easy to read and there are many I want to try. If you are looking for new dessert ideas that are easy and fun to make, this book may be for you.

This is a lovely book, filled with scrumptious photography & tempting recipes. I gave it as a gift, paired with a pretty trifle bowl & it was received with great enthusiasm!

Glory has done a fabulous job with combining various flavors to make not only a delicious but elegant desert presentation. I'm not a fan of prepackaged foods but she gives recipes to those of us who prefer to make from scratch as well as those who like the convenience of box mixes. I've tried several recipies so far and have not been dissappointed. Well worth the purchase!

Great cookbook. The toppings can be made ahead and stored. I love all the ideas.

Bought this book as was thinking of doing layered deserts in jam jars for my wedding reception. Did a trial run with two different desserts for a dinner party to great success...the key lime pie one was especially liked...and everyone was very impressed with how they looked (the layers really do give the wow factor). Recipes I did were easy to follow, but you do need American cup measures. Will definitely try another recipe from this book again but maybe not in jam jars as it was very fiddly to construct!

Just love it.So many great ideas, easy to make, the photos are unbelievable and you can find recipies for any taste.Simple but beautiful desserts, with easy everyday ingredients and there are photos in every recipie, which for me is very important.Already bought a second one as a present and i keep using it very often.

I bought this book after following this blog for over a year and it did not disappoint. The recipes are very simple to follow but you get some very delicious deserts that look irresistible. I made a tropical fruits cheesecake for my parents yesterday and they loved it, even my mother whose quite hard to please.Recommended :)
