Great product and perfect fit for my 2002 F250 4x4, made a big difference over the worn out oem part. Easy installation and improved handling.

I keep saying these things are so expensive, but continue to hear they are worth it. I purchased the Bilstein Steering stabilizer for my Ford Excursion. It seems to be doing a good job for the past week. All the other brands I have tried in the past always end up leaking after a year. Some of the reviews for this stabilizer complain that it's is pressurized and causes there vehicle to drift to the left. It is pressurized coming out of the box. For my application, this made no difference in where the truck wanted to go. Straight down the road with no problems. I have passed over the Bilstein in the past for my vehicles just due to the cost. A few months ago I installed front and rear on a Ford Ranger, they made such a difference on that little truck. When my Ford Excursion needed new shocks the Bilsteins were contenders. The cost is high, but the performance is worth it. Keeping a 9500lb. vehicle in check is a quite a chore for any shock. If your on the fence, get this brand.

Great replacement steering damper for my 2001 Ford Diesel Excursion. Fit great, works great. Only slight negative is it does slightly push out, due to it's internal pressure...... so if you let go of the steering wheel it would eventually steer you to the left. Like I said, it is very slight (but there). I would definitely buy another on if the need ever arises. My truck is lifted five inches and I'm running larger than stock tires. The steering feels tight, with no hint of bump steer, death wobble, or anything else.

Does Not fit 2000 F-250 super duty xlt 4wd, I currently have a stock setup and tires on my truck and there wasnt enough movement in this stabilizer to accomodate the stock setup. (even though this is what the bilstein website calls out). The quality looked nice but I dont want a steering damper to be the limiting factor in my turn radius.

Fit was good and so far works great.

Super easy to install. Comes with instructions including what length your bracket has to be at for it to fit appropriately. Stock bracket is required. Be SURE to measure from the right spot! I have attached a picture. In the instructions I don't think the picture is quite clear enough and it may seem like you measure from the dimple closest to the passenger tire. Don't do that. Measure from where my picture shows. If you install and are getting popping noises when turning your measurement for the bracket is off. I made the mistake so you don't have to! My clevis was bent and wouldn't allow the new stabalizer to even begin to seat in there. Pair of vice grips and a really big bar allowed me to open the clevis up enough to get the new stabalizer end in there. Picture attached with how I did that if you happen to run into the same issue.

Great product, I purchased for my 02 ford f250 superduty back in september, I was using a lesser brand shock prior to this, after the stem seal blew on the original shock I replaced with said lesser brand, i'm not sure what it was about my shock but i got less than 2 weeks service from the shock before the stem seal blew, it was at that point i decided to come off my wallet and buy the Bilstein shock, it was much more expensive than the other brand but it didn't take me long to realize why, the driving experience is much smoother, and it's now January, It's been in service since september, not a sign of a leak yet and still performing great, by far outshining my 60 dollar 2 week service period shock I had before, do yourself a favor and spend the money now, rather than wasting 60 bucks on junk and wind up buying this anyway in the end.

Bought this for my 2001 f350 7.3l along with the Rancho RS5542 Steering Stabilizer Bracket Kit because my truck for some reason did not have a bracket. Truck steering was super sloppy thought about buying a new steering box bit thought I would try this first, and wow noticeable truck doesn't wonder anymore and no bump steer love it. Would recommend

I ordered this to replace the same damper that was already on my '04 F350 while troubleshooting some issues. Ended up the damper on the truck was still in good working order. I don't know when it was installed but it looked like it had been on there for quite a while, so it must be a well made part!

2000 f350. Made it whole new truck to drive. Front end was tight but still wandered around. This made it a whole lot better.
