YuanKanJu Higley Wire Bender Set: 1/16, 1/8, 5/32

I "loaned" my set of benders to a friend, and you can guess the rest. So, I needed to custom bend some spring wire for a few smaller R/C aircraft and had to order/"replace" my other set. I had used these benders a lot when I built my own models to fashion control rods, latches and landing gear. They seemed to get stronger the more I used them; they're really built well and are easy to use, even with the larger music wire.,

It does the job and handle piano wire without issues. I gave it 4 stars because one of the the small piece's pin was crooked and broke of when I tried to straight it up. Questionable Quality Control....?!

I have just started using this wire bender for small hobby and home projects. It takes a little practice to find out how it works and use it to best advantage. It works well, is easy to manage, and versatile. I'm glad I got it and am sure I'll use it often for those projects.

Nice varied set of wire benders for wire within their range. They do need to be anchored in a vise to use, so would benefit from at least an optional anchor and a notice of the need for a vise for use.

Certain tools are needed for certain jobs. That was the case here. these work great for their intended purpose.

I handmade some spring clips for the recoil mechanism of a Stihl brushcutter using this set and wire I also bought from Amazon. They are close to the originals but I haven't tried them yet. A fourth size can be purchased separately.
