Smelly but grip the floor well
These are smelly as others have pointed out but they do grip the floor well. There is no metal washer inside to prevent the legs from eventually cutting through but this could be easily added. Time will tell if they split but they shouldn't at this price.

Very Grippy
I had an old step stool that had hard plastic leg tips, that had cracked and fallen off.This was a big improvement going to rubber as it won't scratch laminate or hardwood floors, plus the stool stays put, much better!!

Big Upgrade
Chair feels more sturdy, good quality rubber, I did notice a strong chemical smell the next morning, hoping it goes away soon. Outdoor applications would be totally fine.
