Wear a Covid mask
These very effective anti insect bombs work very quickly. The gas starts gushing out the moment you light them so wear a Covid mask then get out of the building quick. Gas emits for about 2 minutes and lingers for another 20 minutes till it's safe to go back in.

This works really well
This product is really effective. Initially I ordered two and wasn't sure how to use them.but realised its really simple. Once activated, the smell is really strong it is better to leave the house if possible. After a few hours I saw loads of bugs I was shocked at how many there were, clearly the smoke had got to them and done its job well.

It did work...in a way, but I am happy with results
I have a nest of hornets in a wall cavity high up next to the chimney where I can't reach, and getting pest control would be difficult (access for a cherry picker or hiring scaffolding possibly!)I was happy to leave the hornets alone except one night I was divebombed by about 30 of them one at a time coming down the chimney when I lit a small fire. It's a very old house and I think they are not in the actual chimney but next to it, but there will be small cracks and I think smoke got to them that way.I lit 3 of these bombs in the fireplace one evening after dark, put a sheet of plastic and taped it to the fire surround, and left the room.4 hours later I came back and opened windows etc.I didn't see any dead hornets, but I saw lots of other dead insects which had fallen down the chimney (sad as they were unintentional collateral damage.)Next morning, hornets were still going in and out of the opening just under the soffit.I thought it had failed.I waited a couple of days then lit 3 more bombs. Now, the weird thing is, hornets are still going in and out up there, but now I can light a fire and nothing bad happens! So it took effect in one way or another. Maybe it lessened their numbers or something. That's all I want; to be able to light a fire as Autumn comes on. I hear the hornets die off in winter anyway except for the Queen. So winter should be okay.I definitely think these smoke bombs had a positive effect for sure, but it is a bit of a mystery about what exactly happened!

Does The Job
Had wasps in attic, purchased these and have done so in the past, yup it works, now to hoover up the dead wasps!

Utter waste of money - wish I'd listened to others' reviews!
Had these in the past and they worked ok for a fair-sized loft space plagued with wasps. The smoke was literally billowing out of the eaves and they killed everything. This year, same problem and so bought some more. Have used a total of 8 and they're utterly useless. Barely smoke for more than 12 seconds before extinguishing. I doubt they'd smoke more than an area of 4 cubic metres at most. As a result, they're not reaching all the difficult areas to get to in the loft and the wasps are alive and well.Reached out to the seller and they refuse to accept that there's any problem with them or the batches, despite my pointing out that other reviews suggest its not a one-off problem.Avoid!
