Very detailed book.
Overall this is a very in depth and informative book on the history of BMW Motorrad, with good quality illustrations and photos covering a wide range of models. A reasonable knowledge of engines is needed to fully appreciate this book, there’s quite a bit of technical info. Given how much the R1150/1200GS sent sales into the stratosphere there isn’t much in this book about these models, and it seemed to me more fanfare was given for the S1000RR. The GS’s were of course mentioned, I just expected more on these iconic motorcycles. Overall though an interesting read.
