Got a bottle and loved it. Best I ever used. Ordered a second time and it was the consistency of watery milk. Not like the first bottle that was thick and creamy . Complained to seller. They said just shake it up and it would be ok. Having just purchased a bottle I knew that was not the case. The seller would not refund me nor send me another one. The product was so good the first time I would buy again and hope it was like my first one but I would not buy from that seller.

I’ve used a bunch, and I mean a bunch, of products that either didn’t do as advertised, were too fussy for anyone but real pros, or fell totally short. Total Boat Marine Rubbing Compound just worked. I had sanded several spots on my 45 year old gelcoat with 400 wet sandpaper. In a rush, I skipped the 600, 800, and 1,000 sanding by just using a good wool cutting pad and Total Boat after the 400.It worked! Yes, you can still see some haze and scratches, but this is a 45 year old boat not a California custom paint job. Read the directions, use good pads on a decent buffer, and be patient. Instant success doesn’t happen, you have yo put in the time even with Total Boat.

I tried to send this back. You would not allow me to send it back. It is just like water. No buffing past at all and it wont even polish. I paid for white water and that’s all. Very disappointing and dissatisfied. I’m still trying to make this wright with you guys. No help at all. Just said you wont take it back. I have even talked with Amazon and no help. I feel like i got screwed. Will not recommend this to anyone. My wife said she would post it over the web so no one else has this problem. You guys wouldn’t even make it good. A 23' boat and 10 solid hours of buffing. I prefer TotalBuff over AquaBuff. Starting my application of TotalShine tomorrow morning.The product did great and didn't cause any issues. It was my first time using a cutting compound so I was worried about lack of experience causing issues. Totalbuff is very easy to use and forgiving enough to get professional shine from a noob.

I tried this product due to a video demonstrating how effective it was for removing oxidation from gelcoat. It doesn't work very well and is way too runny to use on a boat hull. I bought some 3M compound locally and was very satisfied.

I used this on a sailboat hull that has been neglected for years. Using a DA polisher, it removed years of oxidation and revealed the shine beneath. Highly recommend.

I tried several different compounds for boat and for paint. the presta super cut is my favorite. This total buff gums up the wool pad and just isnt nearly as easy to use as presta or my second favorite meguirs ultimate compound

This compound worked really well on my small sailboat. I went a little crazy wet sanding the hull and used sand paper which was too aggressive for the job and made a lot of unnecessary scratches. This compound did a good job removing them. I've purchased several TotalBoat products from Jamestown Distributors and have liked them all. One of my favorite things about the company is their YouTube channel featuring an old salt who demos their products and builds an entire wooden boat in his workshop which is a great learning experience.
