Not what I thought.
I thought this die would cut out whole hearts. It does not. I had to piece parts together to fill in the hearts with designer paper. If you are looking for the negative image, this would work for you. It will not look like the image.

Very Disappointed
I am very disappointed in this Heart Die Edger. The hearts cut out just fine, but because there is a squared frame on one side, a 1 inch score (cut) is made at the top and bottom (see pictures). I could find no solution to avoid this from happening.

cuts individual hearts
The picture makes it look it cuts out all hearts as one piece. It actually cuts each one individual and you then have to piece it all back together to get that look. It did cut easily - but not what I wanted it for.

This is MY card but the wrong die!
I created this card in February of 2009. The die shown will NOT give you the same results and you will be disappointed. I used individual heart dies and then after stamping them, overlapped them and stuck them together to create that border. The accompanying photo was stolen from my blog.Don’t believe everything you see!

Cute, but requires multiple cuts
Cuts 4 3/4 tall and 2" from edge to edge of outline hearts. You must cut multiples and insert pieces if you want different colors or patterns for hearts. Or you could put solid piece of card behind the outline, or color the pieces and insert. I wish it had an edge die to use to cut a backing piece. But still very nice and cuts and released well.

Photo is decieving
The photo example with this product is very deceiving. To get different colors and prints of the hearts as shown in the example picture you would have to run the different types of papers through the machine individually for a total of eight times, then glue them together. Or color each heart in by hand with different markers. If you use the die with one color of paper all the hearts would look the same.🤔 This die would be ok if that is what you want, but it does not make a column of different hearts without a lot of extra work. It's my own fault for not figuring this out before I bought the item. I have another set of heart dies that actually cuts little hearts with stripes and other patterns, I could cut them out and stack them to get the look in the photo. Live and learn.
