This phone holder did everything it says it will, which is nice! It also allows you to plug your phone in so you can use the Ford/iPhone interface and it’s smart enough to know when the phone is plugged in so it’s not using the wireless charging at the same time. I returned, however, because I have a strap on my phone case so my phone was too thick for the holder. So when the sides would close, they didn’t hold the phone. I had to take my case on and off and that is annoying. Also, when it was attached to my vent, it wouldn’t sit firmly. I think it was the vent aiming it down, but there was no way to compensate for that. The mount isn’t adjustable enough to reposition the phone to face you.Finally, because the mount is electric and charges, it plugs in. I do have two ports in my car, one is a regular sized USB and the other is a micro USB; however my car charger used the regular USB. So I was plugging and unplugging, which got old fast. I drive for a living and I need my GPS from my phone on my car screen so I can see it.Most of the issues could have been handled with a new phone case and a micro USB charging cord, but I didn’t want to buy all new everything so I returned it. That, and I didn’t like that I couldn’t reposition the arm to compensate for the vent closing under the weight of the holder and phone together. I took off two stars for that because the mount should have more flexibility to compensate for the drop of the vent.

Not that impressed with it.I attached it to an air vent, it bounced off less than two-weeks in.On the second day of use, I placed my phone on this contraption for charging, I drove for a bit of a distance, worked great, but eventually, phone went crazy, a bunch of apps started activating- I unmounted phone when the camera function came on, and I found myself looking at myself. That was mighty uncomfortable for a paranoid nut like me, eventually, my personalities convinced me I was being crazy, used it again, it popped off the air vent.Still looking for a reliable phone mount/charger.I

The device is just adorable, hands down, but darn it 1. It keeps dropping my phone...2. It won't adjust upward,, just hangs downwards...theres a little adjustment ball with tightner..but it doesn't affect vertical placement.. 3. the 'safe' and padded clamp is a pain in the patewsky to get off and on!.. hard plastic and a real finger tight of war to remove and clip on.. Actually have up and went to return it today, but saw i missed the return window..so I have an adorable little robot that smiles at me each time I plug it in :-) If anyone knows how to get this thing to hold an towards adjustment.. let me know.. Im even willing to use colored duct tape to get it to stay in its holder!.. but it really needs to be filled upwards for you to see it.. especially when using Google Maps :-) <3

There are less expensive charges with MagSafe. This is nice for a guest in the car and it’s cute, but just get a MagSafe charger.

It was unable to clip into my car vents which is said it would and as soon as I put my phone in it it came off of the vent that I was finally able to get it to clip on. Piece of junk

I almost never write a review but felt the need to for this purchase. The device did hook nicely to my vent but and would grip my phone tightly. Unfortunately, it also would decide to open up and let go of my phone, dumping it in the floorboard for no apparent reason. It did this twice on a 2.5 mile trip, so that's enough for me. Do not recommend.

The connection to the air vent in the car is poor and the device does not have a solid hold on the phone.
