The dogs, Snowflake and Lady, are the stars of the story. It’s a sappy romance between Nick, who suffers from PTSD, and Holly, who runs the local Delos charity that assists elder folks. That said, it’s still a touching story about love and loss and the amount of patience and commitment it takes to achieve important things.

I have reasons of books by this author so I wasn't hesitant to read another one by her. I also have a huge love of animals so this was a great choice for me. It was very heartwarming and yes tearful in spots but s wonderful read.

A very cute short read. I loved the little canine cutie that came along with this story. I only wished it had been longer. I enjoyed it that much!

Another awesome series that I would recommend that you real. But start with the first one it does continue so you do need to read the first one.

Not as in depth as her other books, but a good read on a cold, wintery night.

This was another good book. I'm enjoying reading this series by Lindsay McKenna. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

Slow moving, ok plot, not much intimacy, and disappointing in action and suspense. Cute dog story but not much Delos Family and connection.
